Easy check in with good instructions. The place looks like the picture. Coffee, dishes, cleaning supplies, trash bags and everything to make the stay comfortable. Definitely recommend!

The cabin was quite spacious though the design was a bit odd from what I am used to. Plenty of room outside with the large decks and yard. The kitchen was well stocked and the rest of the house was in awesome condition. Easy access to the river as well as the entire southern NC coastal area. The tap water had a strong iron smell that was especially noticeable in the shower, but I believe that is pretty common in the area. There was a filtered water pitcher on site which worked well for drinking water. I can safely recommend this place for anybody looking for a quiet get away. Just make sure you have a 4WD capable vehicle as the dirt road to reach the cabin could easily cause problems for low riders, especially if it has rained recently. We plan on staying here again next time we take a coastal vacation.

We enjoyed our weekend stay. It was clean and welcoming. Stephen was able to allow us an early checkin so we could drop off our luggage before heading to our venue for the weekend which was very appreciative with storms rolling in during the late afternoon/evening hours. We enjoyed our last morning drinking coffee on the deck looking at the sunrise coming up over the lake. We didn’t get to spend a lot of time at the condo but when we came in at night it was quiet and we felt safe and at home. We would stay here again!
