The apartment is clean, cozy and superbly located, only a 10-minute walk to the train station, even closer to the center. I was more than satisfied Thank you for the nice stay and good shops with other guests in Bad Säckingen.

The second time we had the opportunity to spend our vacation in the "Schwalbennest Husemann". In advance, information such as availability and then lockbox code has been exchanged. Communication with Anita and Ingo is straightforward and direct. Like the first time, there was nothing missing in this beautiful, quiet apartment: the apartment has everything you need - even for a longer stay. A beautiful bedroom accessible via a spiral staircase with TV and another sleeping option (sofa bed). A sparkling clean, beautiful bathroom (spacious shower and toilet with sink) is just as characteristic of the Bijoux as the cozy sitting area with hi-fi system and a multifunctional kitchen (with dishwasher) located in the Sous-Parterre. There is a washing machine in a side. The personal touch was accompanied by the warm welcome of the Superhosts.

I rented this workshop for professional reasons in the area. The presence of the air conditioner was essential, since I had arrived towards the end of the 2024 heatwave, and it was still very hot. The kitchen is small but largely sufficient for a person or couple. The neighborhood is more peaceful than I thought. It is right next to the train station but it is a residential area with no traffic, and not a central village square, which is on the other side of the railway. So it was very quiet. The highway is nearby, but you can only hear it as a distant white noise. And trains only run 3-4 times per hour during the day. Chantelle was very friendly and helpful. If you have a car, Eiken is also a good base for walks in the region or in the Black Forest. Basel is accessible by train, with about 30 minutes of travel.
