Cottage vacation rentals in Edisto Beach

Great get away in a perfect neighborhood. After riding around on the island I had my doubts there could be a such nice quiet house amongst all of the crowds that were found along the beaches. When we pulled up to the cottage all of my fears went out the window, it is located on a quiet dead end street, there were probably less than 10 cars went by in the two days we were there. The house it self was just as described, one of the cutest places we have ever rented. Missy was a great host, always communicated quickly, and provided great recommendations for the area. 5 Stars all the way around. We will be back!

Christine could not have been easier to work with and communicate with. She was fast to respond to any and all questions that came up during our stay. The house was perfect for our family of 5 that included my two sons who were 3 and 7 years old. The indoor hot tub was fantastic! The outdoor fire pit and large deck was great! The Golf Cart was essential to loading up the kiddos and gear for the beach that was just a short ride away! I highly recommend this location for anyone! And thank you to Christine for being a gracious hostess!

Really nice, game room was fun for kids, and the bar being available for adults was accommodating! Super cool to see gators there!

Great location and felt private. Our kids loved the path out the back gate to the playground. 20 min walk to great coffee and bagels. Had most cooking tools you might need. Amazing soaker tub in primary suite, and beautiful hot tub in backyard. Will definitely be staying here again.

Loved staying at Missy’s place on Tybee Island. Especially loved the enclosed porch with TV and 2 swinging couches. Missy provided everything we could possibly need in her cozy adorably decorated place. The hot tub was great! She even provided a golf cart so we were able to explore most of the beautiful Tybee island without paying parking fees. Missy gave us recommendations for restaurants. The Crab Shack was a fun place to eat with great food and some alligators and birds to see. Definitely recommend Missy’s Salty Mermaid Couples retreat and hope to visit again one day. Missy truly is the hostess with the mostest.

My family and I had a great time staying here. My kids loved the pool & gaming area. My husband loved watching March madness in the sunroom. It’s a 10min walk to the beach. Everything was so clean. We would deff stay again.

This place was terrific! Even better than the pictures. Clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen was great as were the bedrooms and outside amenities. Would highly recommend and look forward to coming back!

I loved this little cottage. It was 11 of us total. Everyone had a place to sleep. It’s so quaint. I was able to get it a few hours before getting to my location. Very helpful and friendly host!

We loved our stay at the Lil Pearl. It was close enough to walk to Center St but also far enough away that it was peaceful and quiet. This perfect little cottage isn’t far from a public beach access as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location! House was a described. Beautiful town with lots of charm, restaurants, and shops in walking distance. Had one issue while we were there and Kevin was prompt to send someone to fix the issue. Would love to stay again someday.

This stay exceeded our expectations! We needed somewhere close-by the hospital downtown, but also wasn’t in the city. This was heaven on earth - horses, bass fishing, our pups enjoyed the fenced yard and the peace that surrounded this place was amazing. Denise and Tanya couldn’t have been more pleasant and accommodating hosts. We’re definitely planning to come back!

Our stay at Alyssa and Justin’s cottage was great. The house is exactly as shown and as others have mentioned, it was fully stocked with so many amenities and great for cooking. Our plans changed to include an extra dog and then use of the state park pass and they were very responsive and to these requests within the hour. The sheets were clean and soft and the house is very close to the harbor and Main Street of historic Beaufort. Our group of four adults and 2 dogs had a great stay!

I adored this location and the house! The house was beautifully decorated and felt open and relaxing to be in. The location was perfect to foot around the area and easy access to the beach.

Tara’s place was clean and bright. Great location: walkable to restaurants and the beach. Grateful to have parking on premises. And an added plus was the house was stocked with baby items so we didn’t have to bring our own. We’d recommend her place to anyone traveling to Folly Beach!

I see that someone stated in their review that it "felt like a home, not a rental." That is so true! It's a gorgeous property; so peaceful and inviting. It's great being close to the city and the beach, but you may have to force yourself to leave that lovely porch. Thank you for being great hosts! Would absolutely stay there again! If there is any negative (and it IS difficult to find one), it would be better if the extra cost for using the second bedroom was more visible on the listing. Discovering that later was a little disappointing.

The tiny cottage was perfect for my husband and I visiting Charleston for the first time. We prefer to stay where we can easily walk to restaurants and local sites/activities. This place fit the bill. Yes, it is tiny, but was great for our three night stay. We arrived late our first night due to flight delays and were concerned about being close enough to dining options to walk for dinner. The walk to King Street is so convenient, and dinner at The Rarebit was just what we needed. If you are only planning a short stay in Charleston, don’t hesitate to book Thomas’s Tiny Cottage.

The Cucumber Cabana was just as advertised. It was clean, comfortable, and adorably furnished. We reached out to Tennille at check in due to being low on coffee. She immediately responded and delivered a care package that more than addressed our needs. The bikes were an unexpected treat and she had plenty of beach toys that unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate enough for us to enjoy. This is an extremely unique getaway and Tennille did not disappoint. Taking a ferry to an island where you travel by golf cart involves a fair amount of planning and logistics. Tennille made the trip a breeze! Thanks Tennille!

We enjoyed our 4 nights at the Island Bungalow on Bowens Island. It was very quiet and we rested very well. We enjoyed a daily road trip to different beaches and restaurants in the area. We enjoyed a nice visit with Diana Wednesday morning and enjoyed some beautiful weather on their large fishing pier.

Beautiful garden, amazing breakfast, and the cottage is really cozy. A great place to stay
