Great place to stay if you don’t want to stay in the city. Easy park and ride into Edinburgh. The surroundings are stunning, a great place to wake up to! There were plenty of walks but we didn’t end up doing any of them as we had walked for hours in Edinburgh and couldn’t face anymore hilly walks!

The place was very clean, hot tub was amazing, great location and Kevin was easy to work with.

We loved every minute of our stay here. The cabins were superb. Very clean and well maintained. They were even bigger than expected. The grounds were also very well maintained and kept. It was a lovey quiet place, and felt so homely. There was a ‘visitor/guest’ book left and it was so helpful with local directions etc. We have already started looking at dates I we can book to stay again. 5 star rating from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent little lodge for a cheeky getaway, with excellent facilities and comfortable staying! The kitchen had everything we needed, from microwave to oven to plates to glasses, and the hot-tub was everything we needed it to be. You can tell the hosts not only cared about taking care of the lodge, but also of us who stayed the night. Would go again

Great spot, not to far away from Newcastle so a great little escape with out travelling far with the kids. I would definitely recommend. "I like the trampoline" words of Albie!

This was me and my girlfriends (and her dog Daisy’s) first trip away and it was perfect! Leigh met me at the property and had the hot tub pre warming and gave me useful instructions for our stay. The lodge was lovely from the decor, to the amenities provided to the beautiful view right outside our door. Thanks especially to Leigh for all the little extras you provided - bubbly on arrival, a hamper and even treats for Daisy :) I would recommend Fossoway to anyone and hope we get the chance to visit again. Thank you for an unforgettable weekend!

What a fantastic stay we had at larch lodge and we can’t wait to return. For starters the lodge was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. We booked to do horse riding with maggie which was great fun and I would definitely recommend. A nice touch was for Paul to join us on the ride. The placement of the lodge was absolutely perfect with stunning surroundings. We had such a peaceful stay and what more could you ask for sitting in the hot tub under a sky full of stars. I fully recommend this place and we have with all of our family and friends. We can’t wait to return. Thanks for such a nice stay Paul.

Great place, very cosy, loved the hot tub on a cold night. The surroundings were great to explore especially Anstruther and we had a great time on the kingsbarn distillery tour.

We had a lovely stay. It's a great location and a wonderful lodge that looks exactly like the photos. Would definitely recommend and we would love to come back again!

This was my second stay here and it was just as comfortable and beautiful as the first time. Kelly was extremely helpful and informative and everything in the accommodation was perfect.

A quick stay over-night and will definitely be coming back. It’s exactly what a self-check-in airbnb should be. Squeaky clean! Kitchen was functional, a fire pit outside, stack of dvds and the bed was super cozy. The nest warms up very quickly with the wood stove as well/ My wife and I had a blast and would recommend to anybody needing a special stay in the Borders.

Fabulous location, with amazing views. We found the pod to be cosy, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We would highly recommend it.

Lovely, quirky, cosy wee place, exactly as described. Kitchen facilities are small, basic but adequate. We took the extra option of the Swedish hot tub (which isn't advertised) and it was fantastic, with stunning views.

Cosy cabin, deceptively spacious (was a lot bigger than the photos made out), nice and warm. Hot powerful shower. Nice and secluded, with direct access to glentress if you are planning to visit there on the bike, would 100% recommend!

A friend and I stayed a weekend at the Pottery, and enjoyed every minute! Samantha and Stefan left us fresh eggs and milk, and made us feel immediately at home. They were very responsive as well - we had actually initially booked the annex of their cottage, but when we needed an early check-in they were extremely flexible and offered to put us up in the Pottery instead (which helped us out immensely!) Since it’s quite remote, Samantha gave us clear instructions on the best way to get to and from, as well as advice on booking taxis if we needed. She also knew the area very well, and was able to provide us with some great suggestions on nearby walks and hikes. The space was clean and cozy, and had all of the kitchen staples we needed. We loved reading through the folder Samantha and Stefan had left us about local suggestions, as well as the account of their journey to building the Pottery as it is today. Would absolutely love to stay here again someday!

Amazing place to stay 💕 Linda was so helpful before we went and answered any questions we had. Caravan was spotless and a great size for us all. Location was peaceful with beautiful views! Looking at coming back next year already!

Fantastic place, very good to stay, but one thing to note is that visiting the house should be included for those staying there.

Perfect for our needs. No heating or hot water on last night/morning but owner was responsive in looking into things and explaining it was a local gas supply issue.

Second time coming here as we have family close by, lovely as always we preferred Aithernie Lodge but still a beautiful cabin.

We had a great time in the studio. The decor was perfect and created a lovely chilled out vibe. James was very responsive and helpful. The studio had everything we needed, we loved exploring Edinburgh (30 min bus drive away from the studio) however could’ve quite happily just stayed here the whole time. We had everything we needed and more. The scenery was beautiful, inside of the studio was homely and cosy and the local amenities were no more than a 12 minute walk away. I would recommend this AirBnb to anybody and will 100% be coming back here in the future. Thanks for a great stay, Matt.
