Cabin vacation rentals in East Lothian

Great place to stay if you don’t want to stay in the city. Easy park and ride into Edinburgh. The surroundings are stunning, a great place to wake up to! There were plenty of walks but we didn’t end up doing any of them as we had walked for hours in Edinburgh and couldn’t face anymore hilly walks!

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer weekend away! Leigh made the cabin feel homely and comfortable and it had everything we could’ve needed. The surroundings are gorgeous and we loved relaxing in the hot tub! Thank you for having us! :)

We loved every minute of our stay here. The cabins were superb. Very clean and well maintained. They were even bigger than expected. The grounds were also very well maintained and kept. It was a lovey quiet place, and felt so homely. There was a ‘visitor/guest’ book left and it was so helpful with local directions etc. We have already started looking at dates I we can book to stay again. 5 star rating from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

WOW!! what a beautiful staycation my fiancé and I had! the location was very easy to find and when reached there is clear arrows pointing you to your pod. the surroundings were so serene and peaceful and felt really nice to hear all that nature had to offer. We couldn’t fault any of the amenities as they were all clean and just as described, we even found ourselves rekindling our youth by playing the games that are provided such as jenga! we absolutely loved making use of the easy to use hot tub and enjoying staring out into a starry night sky, truly bliss and we highly recommend and cant stop telling our friends about it, I even forgot some personal belongings but Barry and Pamela were kind enough to ship these to me at no extra cost. we will definitely be back! thanks so much.

Such a peaceful night away, cabin was comfortable and cosy. Had a brilliant time watching the stars in the hot tub, would definitely return.

Amazing we can’t wait to come back already! We absolutely loved our weekend here at Sam & Euan’s home, Sam went above and beyond to make our stay special for my 30th Birthday. I arrived to balloons, a cake & candles (arranged by my husband & Sam - she really is an amazing host!) The home is quirky, modern and very unique- the perfect break away and very peaceful. We have 2 small dogs who had a ball and loved the grounds at the home. We would highly recommend this home to anyone, you will not be disappointed. Thank you both for everything and we will be back soon.

This place is a hidden gem. Rosie and Jim are excellent hosts, they made our stay incredible and we had the most wonderful new year. The house is better than in pictures, the surrounding fields and beautiful landscapes are truly incredible. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

Beautiful cabin with post-card picturesque views. It was a true winter wonderland which made for a lovely experience. The heavy snow did mean we chose to not use the hot tub as it does take a while to heat up and we preferred to stay in the warmth of the cabin but that just means we’re keen to come back again to make full use of the cabin and the surrounding things to see/do! Host was helpful and responsive, and all the information ahead of the stay helped us have a stress free trip.

We had a lovely stay. It's a great location and a wonderful lodge that looks exactly like the photos. Would definitely recommend and we would love to come back again!

I throughly enjoyed my stay at The Vista. Even though it was the end of December the weather was kind and meant I could enjoy the amazing view, even had the doors open a few times. And they say southerners are soft lol Kelly really has thought of everything and there wasn’t a time I thought ‘ah I wished I’d bought…with me’. It really is home from home. She is the perfect host and even arranged for a little Xmas tree to be put up for me ☺️ I very rarely revisit the same accommodation within the UK but I would definitely look to stay here again. Although not next year as those holidays are already booked.

My stay at the Love shack as a solo traveller over Christmas was perfect. The cabin was really lovely inside. It's quite a small living area but the bedroom was very spacious. Small cooking area with microwave, electric oven and 2 hobs so everything anyone could need. Bathroom and shower were spotless. There a large outside space with fireplace and chimney and plenty of wood supplied (also coal for the fire inside was supplied for my stay. Top up coal is provided for £5 a scuttle which is vety reasonable!!) Monty was very helpful the few times I messaged him and all in all, I had a wonderful time there!!!!

We had a great week at Haggerston Castle. The lodge itself was in a superb location, a short walk from the main facilities. It was private, quiet and spacious inside. We would definitely book again!

Beautiful cabin, very welcoming, everything you need and more! Even with poor weather it was lovely to stay warm, dry and cosy in the cabin. My dog also had a great time and felt most welcome (special thanks for the dog treats). Very approachable and knowledgable host :) Close to Holy Island, Bamburgh and beautiful beaches and countryside.

Place was very nice and peaceful, beautiful setting very clean and spacious while still feeling cosy, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to spend a holiday around Edinburgh but not having to stay in the city

Fabulous location, with amazing views. We found the pod to be cosy, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We would highly recommend it.

We absolutely adored the farm and all the animals. The place was incredibly cosy and clean. Everything was well-organized when we arrived. The view from our container was breathtaking, and it was an incredibly peaceful place. Clemency was a wonderful host who showed us around the farm and introduced us to the lovely dogs, ducks, chickens, sheep, and swans. It was a great place to disconnect from the busy city life.
