Highly recommended. Barbara was a gracious and knowledgeable host. The flat was well equipped, well positioned if you prefer access to the city without being in it and very comfortable and well presented. We would return - which says it all.

Me and my daughter stayed here for two nights recently, to attend a local wedding. Vicky went beyond what was expected of a host. The dwelling was decor throughout to a very high standard and was very welcoming with some very personal touches . Personally I struggle to sleep with the road traffic noise on the front of the house, but my daughter Absolutely love staying there and we come back again as would I . Thank you very much Vicky, I would say Beeswing Airbnb is the best todate I have stayed in .

Warm welcome, beautiful surroundings, peaceful short break. Host went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable by putting the log burner on before we arrived as it was a cold day. Amazing breakfast.

Wonderful short stay and the perfect base for a travel stop as we went on to the Highlands.. We arrived to some thoughtful welcome items of milk,bread, butter, cereals, and jam - thank you David. We stayed for 3 nights to visit relatives in Edinburgh and Falkirk and we were most comfortable and warm. Easy check in and check out - a beautiful Home with a really interesting history. Really enjoyed visiting The Kelpies in the day and the evening. Recommend visiting the palace and going on a barge on the grand Union canal with the local volunteers who were really knowledgeable & seeing the Falkirk wheel in action! The Boardwalk restaurant near the Falkirk wheel is well worth booking! Food was lovely.

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

Loved staying here and Marie was the best host. The house was just outside of the main part of the city which made for peaceful evenings and the bus stop was less than a minute walk away and so easy to buy tickets. We did the whole week trip using public transportation and walked to the grocery store around the corner. Marie gave us all the information we needed on how to navigate the city what was nearby and even offered to call us our taxis on departure day. Marie was such a sweet and thoughtful host and the house was so cozy and comfortable for our party of 7 (2 adults 2 seniors and 3 kids 10 and under) if we ever have the chance to make it back to Edinburgh we won’t stay anywhere else!

Absolutely loved it. Quiet, clean, wonderful atmosphere. Right by the botanical gardens. As someone who returns to Edinburgh, this is the best place I've stayed and will try to stay here again my next trip. We were very happy here.

This place was perfect for the six of us- and it even had a washer (one that could wash and dry!). We loved the artwork inside, too. The location was great, comfortable, and Trish helped with recommendations for food and travel. Street noise was no bother, though one must stick to the sidewalk when walking about.

Great location below the castle. Highly walkable city. Apartment is an uphill walk from the train station , without luggage not a problem, take the stairs, with luggage a bit longer route to avoid stairs. Can always take Uber or taxi. Unit itself is up two flights, no lift. Fortunately host was there to meet us and carried our luggage up ! Bright and airy, high ceilings, excellent towels and bedding. Beds comfortable, place clean and full of charm. Host supplied milk coffee and juice. Much appreciated!

This is a fantastic flat for a larger party. The bedrooms are all a great size and the lounge/kitchen area is very spacious and easily accommodates 8 adults. The kitchen is very well kitted out with more than enough decent sized mugs so we could all have coffee at the same time! The location is very central - tram from the airport is literally round the corner and its an easy walk into the old town . The area is full of restaurants with good ratings, although we found they can get full so booking would be sensible. Severall supermarkets nearby if you need to shop. Excellent place for a short break in Edinburghj

David was an amazing host and the flat was absolutely perfect. Location could not have been better. David was incredibly responsive, helpful and super accommodating! Will definitely stay again the next time I visit Edinburgh!

We had a wondeful weekend in Edinburgh and the apartment did not disappoint. The location is ideal, close enough to the main sites, but still private and quiet. Paul left some essentials in the apartment, which was much appreciated. The apartment felt bigger than on the pictures and had great touches, from original features to modernised fixtures.

We had such a pleasant stay at James' place. He was very friendly and available at any time. The apartment has all the amenities you can imagine, we felt at home during all our stay. The neighborhood is really quiet and close to Arthur's Seat. Even if the apartment is a bit off-center, you can easily walk to the city center. We would for sure recommend staying at James' place.

We loved our stay here! The location is amazing and very close to the Castle. We walked everywhere in Edinburgh; we would definitely stay here again.

Katrina is a wonderful landlord who prepared plenty of drinks and bread for us, making it feel very homey! It's just a half-hour bus ride from the city center, and there's a supermarket right across the street, making the location very convenient. Thank you, Katrina! If I have the chance to visit Edinburgh again, I would definitely consider staying here!

I had the pleasure of staying for three nights at Jo and Steven's lovely home on my way to the Isle of Skye. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warmth and care they put into making their guests feel welcome. My room was impeccably clean, wonderfully cozy, and provided a haven of peace and quiet after long days of exploring. Jo and Steven have thoughtfully prepared a dedicated kitchen for guests, which was both convenient and well-equipped. Their beautiful garden was a delightful retreat, perfect for enjoying sun or the fresh evening air. The location itself is serene, safe, and ideally situated for visiting both Edinburgh and St Andrews. Steven kindly recommended some excellent restaurants and must-see attractions in the area, while Jo went above and beyond by providing a lovely selection of breakfast essentials, including fresh milk, bread, cereal, and fruit. Their hospitality was truly heartfelt and made my stay all the more special. Thank you, Jo and Steven.

The perfect little cottage within walking distance to everything! And John was the perfect host! His entire family worked as a team to insure our stay was amazing. They communicated well, always had great recommendations, and provided everything we could possibly need. This cottage is so close to EVERYTHING! I can’t stress this enough. There’s a GREAT restaurant, quaint little shops, a bakery, a convenience store, local attractions, etc. literally across the street. And I’ll add, while the cottage is central to everything, just off the main road, it’s sooooo quiet. You can’t go wrong booking John’s place!

Carol was a lovely lady greeted us will a lovely smile and welcome. We ended up staying 2 nights as it was as it said in the tin . Quiet tranquil place. Carol makes the most amazing coffee and breakfast. We sat and chatted and watched the wild life birds have their breakfast in the tree in garden. Carol dog lily was a sweet dog friendly and happy to say hello . The bedroom and bathroom are clean and also very comfy bed and nice chairs to relax and read a book We would definitely recommend a stay with carol . We will definitely be back to stay ... 10 out of 10 stay 😁😁😁

What a beautiful home! Georgina was a superb host, and was extremely friendly and welcoming. We loved every minute of our stay! The room was perfect and had everything we could need. Great place when you want to visit Edinburgh which is a 15-minute drive away. The room was clean, en-suite bathroom small but functional. Good quality bed. And great breakfast. I recommend the place!
