Great spot in a quiet little town on the water

I almost don’t want to say how fantastic my stay was because going forward you are sure to be always booked! I absolutely LOVED Commonground! The building buzzed with positivity and happy people. The cafe and food downstairs were delicious. The music at night fun. Everyone seemed happy. The room was immaculate and thoughtfully laid out. The kitchen had everything I need and more. I loved that you had games, a pack and play, a high chair, extra comfy pillows and blankets. I liked. That there were two real plants in the kitchen (which I watered and pruned for you). I suppose the only things I would say is that I miss having cable, being a news person, and the overheard lights were a bit too bright. I highly recommend Commonground.

Perfect stay. Location was ideal. The apartment is large and comfortable. I was thrilled to stay in an Airbnb home that wasn't absolutely inundated in chemical fabric softeners and fragrances. This home was clean and did not have any chemical overwhelm. Excellent. Would stay again.

Great spot close to great breweries and restaurants. Easy check in and parking. Loved the balcony in the evenings.

Our stay at Kathy’s place was perfect! The rental was spotless upon are arrival and Kathy was extremely flexible with check in and checkout. Her communication before and during our stay was outstanding and prompt. Kathy went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during are stay. I would definitely recommend her place and happily rent from her again in the future.

Close to downtown Traverse City and Old Mission Peninsula! Parking was easy to find ( as long as you only had 1 car). The condo looked just like the pictures and the space was very clear! We enjoyed our stay here!

Loved it. Peaceful; on marina - watching boats come and go with lots of things to do within a short walk.

We just returned from our family Thanksgiving trip at this beautiful house and left with the most amazing memories. The location was beautiful and we could not get enough of the view. The house was beautiful, clean, and even had everything we needed to host a large thanksgiving dinner. We were literally treated like family and were offered an early check in so we could get our thanksgiving dinner going, and even were offered a late check out. I could not say enough great things about our stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, whimsical cottage. Very clean with great sand toys for my toddler. Very responsive and kind hosts! A magical weekend away!

The house was absolutely beautiful and the perfect size for our group. It is located on a peaceful lake and the backyard is set up perfectly with a beach area, firepit and plenty of chairs for everyone. We loved sitting out there in the morning, drinking our coffee. The interior was spotless, and we took advantage of the large table. We played games both nights and it fit our group of 8 with room to spare. We are definitely going to plan a trip in warmer weather where we can take advantage of the water activities.

You will instantly fall in love with the quiet lakefront beauty and the breath-taking and welcoming home just 60 or so feet from the water. The main floor of the house is close to lake level making the drama of nature around you compelling and inspiring. The waterfront and waves lapping the stone and sand shore are visible from almost all the rooms of the house, and it's a short walk to River Street in Elk Rapids. Traverse Magazine readers voted River Street "in the top 10 of ‘Sweet Small-Town Main Streets in Northern Michigan.'” The pace of life is calming in this lovely town and in this beautiful home. Owner Bernadette and property manager Sam make you feel perfectly at home. Response time to messages is instant, polite, and friendly. There's so much enjoyment to be had for all ages here.

This property is flat out amazing! The pictures do not do this place justice. The layout of the house is perfect for a family vacation with plenty of space all over the house! Game room is amazing with the theater seating and huge TV, the deck is a great place to lounge, walk out door on the ground floor is a nice touch, rooms have a nice view of the lake. The house is very clean and has everything that you need. Yes, the house is amazing, but David made this stay a one of a kind. I asked a lot of questions and he was patient, understanding, and welcoming as a host from start to finish. Communication with David was very clear and concise. Thank you again David for making this vacation one that we will never forget! We will definitely be coming back to stay at one of your properties!

The location and cottage are fantastic. We enjoyed an awesome week at the lake with great fishing and peaceful fun times with family. Brought a boat for the week and thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the large sand bar on the lake. Julie was a great host who communicated clearly with everything and made things so easy for us. The location is about as private as it can get being on a lake which made it for a quiet peaceful week! Would definitely rent again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is an absolute treat having our boat right outside at the dock. We loved listening to the loons. Mark, the property manager is super helpful (thank you!). The property is clean, clutter free, and the house is stocked very well with essentials. Michael accommodated a special request I had for our stay during booking and I really appreciated the opportunity. We would love to stay here again! My only complaint is the trip went by too fast!

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay in this gorgeously updated condo with a lake view. Patty and Al are friendly and responsive and gave us terrific recommendations for dining, sight-seeing, and making the most of our stay. The condo itself is lakeside and the many windows offer lovely views - both sunrise and sunset. Downtown restaurants and gift shops in Boyne City are just a short walk away along the waterfront, passing parks and boat launches along the way. We visited summertime but it's perfectly situated for skiers as well.

Greg was the perfect host for a holiday week. He checked in regarding the condo as well as with the road conditions. Snow in northern Michigan is not for the faint of heart! The lake effect snow machine was a beautiful addition to a great week.

The place was clean & comfortable and the views were immaculate. The host was also very responsive and accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay.

We are so happy we chose this wonderful condo! It was clean, very well located, quiet, and had amazing views of beautiful Crooked Lake. We hope to go back again next year!

Shannon's place was absolutely beautiful!! We had a girls weekend and enjoyed walking to the beautiful beach, hanging out in the house, and exploring the area. The beds were so comfortable as were the furnishings every where. This was the perfect place for our weekend trip!

Me and my husband loved our little mini weekend trip here! We used to live down the road and since moving away it was so fun to come back and visit! Loved the location! The bed was cozy! The tub was the best! And the views were so beautiful! Checking in was easy- and for being a condo felt very private. It wasn’t busy there at all! Jesse was also great at communicating! We will definitely be booking another weekend up here soon! 🤍
