Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in East County, San Diego

Alexander's place was the perfect California get away for our family vacation! The location was awesome just a short walk from the beach. The backyard was so big for California and great for our dogs. It had a lot of seating and a hot tub which was perfect! Alexander was very responsive throughout our stay. There is a train right behind the Airbnb that used it's horn loudly multiple times a day and until about 11 which was very clearly listed in the listing but if you are sensitive to noise it might bother you. We had no issues with the train.

What a great stay! Helen’s house was just lovely. Full of light, and so peaceful. Plenty of room for our large family gathering. Multiple spots for lounging and visiting, both inside and out. The hot tub was a hit with our teens/ young adults:) Fully supplied with everything you could possibly need. Great location, close to grocery stores and restaurants, but out of earshot of any traffic noise. Helen was a wonderful host and made us feel welcome. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area.

Place was spacious, clean, and a good location.

This was an amazing place with a lot of space and bedding. Mayra is a fantastic host. Would have love to have a lot more bedding especially in winter. Will stay here again anytime

House in a great location. The house is very clean, the beds were really comfortable! Our host is very communicative, fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night due to other engagements we had. But we will definitely be coming back and staying longer!

Absolutely perfect stay! The cottage was spotless, cozy and full of charm, nestled in a peaceful La Jolla neighborhood. It had everything we needed for a comfortable visit (we really appreciated the coffee maker, hair dryer, and baby items) and the host was very friendly and attentive. Convenient location as well, a short drive to the beach and La Jolla attractions and easy to get downtown and around San Diego from here. Highly recommend this hidden gem and we will stay there next time we are in town. Thanks again Meghan!

Great location, easy to to get to the freeway and easy to get to any nearby attractions

As a large group with small children we felt right at home. The neighborhood is a peacefull neighborhood. The home was spotlessly clean and organized. The annex unit with its independent bathroom and kitchen can be accessed via the front and backyard. There were enough untensils and cutlery for our large group. The house does not show its age and is tastefully done. The backyard has a giant deck with a fireplace (which we did not use). The rest of the backyard is covered with artificial grass and our children had fun running around. Balboa Park and the Zoo are a 15 to 20 min drive through neighborhood streets. Sea World is 15 to 20 mins via the highway. Very close to lots of asian groceries and restaurants on El Cajon Blvd. Abby-Steven are wonderful hosts who were polite and very responsive to all our queries.

We loved our stay at this property. The bunk room for the kids was large and had plenty of space. The bathroom was very clean and modern -- great shower :) The location was perfect for us -- walkable to all the beaches around the bay and an easy 5-10 minute drive to everything else we wanted to do. Super safe neighborhood. Mary and Tony were extremely welcoming and helpful. One of our best stays ever!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The place was lovely and a wonderful location with close access to the beach and to all the local shops and great restaurants. The chairs, umbrellas and other gear they provided made our beach days perfect. The patio was great - lively in the evenings with good people watching, but perfectly quiet once you came back inside. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed here multiple times and love it! Its quiet and the porch is right by the sand to watch passers by and enjoy the weather. Always clean and easy to get in with clear instructions.

Luis’s place was everything listed on here plus more. The patio space was serene, prefect for that part of your day when you just want to unwind and relax. Overall the host was quick to respond to any concerns and the place was cozy and clean. If you’re thinking about it just go ahead and book it you won’t regret it :)

Great location. It's near a surfer beach, but if you're comfy with the ocean, it's a great hang. Also, within about 10m of the main La Jolla Beach which is superb. Cy has all your needs for a great beach stay: boogie board, umbrella, towels, chairs, sand mat, toys. Close location to some decent food. Cy communicates quickly and thoroughly, but otherwise stays out of your way. Place was very clean with a cool shower head. Neighbors in the apartment were very friendly as well. Would absolutely recommend for a beach stay.

Great location! Everything we wanted to do was max 20 min drive and at best a 20 minute walk. The beach was ridiculously close, the shopping and food area was right around the corner as well. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will more than likely be bac!

The location is great. At the end so it’s quiet, just steps to the powder sands. Yet so close to the crowds. I rented a bike for the week which was my means for transportation. (Only $70 and all you need. Beats the costs for Uber!) Market close for essentials. Instacart within the hour for groceries. Pacific beach with more options for dining and night life is a bike ride away! Second time to mission beach. LOVE THE AREA!!

Great accommodations in Solana Beach! Perfect for our family of five. Easy beach access and walkable into town. Well stocked and very responsive host. Will definitely be back.

For an authentically awesome, classic,and genuine experience of OB, stay here! Especially if you own a dog, it’s a 2 minute walk to OB’s dog beach. This place is perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway. It has a private courtyard with a wood burning fire pit. Don’t forget to bring the fixings for s’mores! Millie was a terrific host, always responsive and very accommodating! I recommend staying here if you get a chance. I definitely would love to stay here again. If I’m completely honest I wish I could live here permanently forever!!!

Great spot had a lot of fun !!

This was our 2nd stay in this building with Sea Breeze. You cannot beat the location! It is not just walkable, the view out the patio is all ocean, there is only a parking lot separating you from the sand. And it can be fun to people watch those come and go in the parking lot as well. The bed is comfortable and the place is spacious. Plus, so many great restaurants to walk to. There are no chain restaurants which is even better. I also recommend taking a food tour experience. Check out the Airbnb experiences that are available during your stay.

It is a great place to stay, and centrally located to everything fun to do in San Diego.

We came to Glenna’s place for a family Christmas. It was perfect for my husband and I and our three adult children. We had easy access to all the fun things that they like and enjoy getting to explore new restaurants and coffee shops right next-door. We would be excited to stay here again!
