Family-friendly vacation rentals in Dunsborough

Place was great. House was spacious although bathroom is pretty small. Booked for the hot tub so was disappointed to find that the air pump was broken so only heated, no massage air jets. Otherwise great stay. Very close to dunsborough town centre so easy walk in.

Beautiful place to stay and so very peaceful with a great outlook over the native bush land from the balcony with very comfy chairs and day bed, the location is fantastic with lovely cafes and wineries near by and not far from the beach all within a short distance. The styling of the home is fantastic so comfortable and we felt at home immediately when we arrived in the evening as the fire was already alight which was a lovely welcome along with the wine and tasty muffins so thank you Brenda and Paul we will return again soon. 😀

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was lovely and set in a great location - very peaceful and perfect relaxing getaway. The downstairs bed was very comfortable, the spa bath in the ensuite was such a treat. It was also a bonus being walking distance to both the beach and the Common Bar & Bistro. The house was really well set up for families too - there were heaps of toys, books, and DVDs to keep the kids entertained. My 4 year old son didn't want to leave and asked if we could stay again. Would definitely stay again.

Family had a lovely time away. All the extras with regards to games, pool table etc were pretty good. Great idea if it rains. Lots of space

Nice quiet and cozy place. Great choice to explore all the Margaret River region has to offer. Plus, Lucy was a great host. Friendly and always responsive.

This was a great place for several groups of people to get together. We had a great family reunion. There is a large well appointed kitchen and living space for everyone to socialise and a couple of private living spaces adjacent to the bedroom areas to retreat to. Lots of large bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The accommodation is actually three adjacent self contained units that open up as a single large house that is perfect for multiple couples and groups. All areas were clean, generously furnished and well appointed. The house is located in bushland which is great for walking and communing with nature. We all enjoyed our stay.

Jenny's place is very well equipped and you can probably find almost any piece of cooking equipment you might need. There are signs of wear and tear on some equipment and furniture but this does not affect usage. There is a garage but it was used to store receeation equipment and the dryer so it could not be used- if it is raining, this means you will need to make a run for the front door as you won't be sheltered. Otherwise, not much of an issue to just park in front of the house. Kids were delighted with the table tennis table and made use of it nightly. Lots of bin chickens and other birds in the neighbourhood which was a delight to spot. Overall great base to explore the Busselton area.

We had a wonderful stay, it was the perfect family getaway with our lab and Cavoodle. It’s in a quiet area, minutes to town, in a peaceful cabin surrounded by spacious lawns, beautiful gardens & trees. Loved waking up to the kookaburras, watching our dogs do zoomies across the backyard whilst having a warm brew on the deck in the sun. Very rarely do you find a getaway that you can share with not one but two dogs, we were very grateful to share this breakaway with them! We had tonnes of wood to keep the fire burning, which we appreciated very much! Wish we could’ve stayed so much longer. We will be back, thank you!

The location of this home is beautiful ! We felt the seclusion away from the busier streets and activity was such an asset. The home is very comfortable with every convenience. We couldn’t help but be blown away by the view from the kitchen , dining and lounge rooms! Sitting outside watching the sunset….tho coolish(end of May) was magnificent. It’s a favourite of ours❤️❤️

We had a lovely stay at Fresh Escape. It was very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the hot outdoor shower after our beach adventures. Great location. We would highly recommend it to other young families.

Very grateful to find a place in such a perfect location that was also dog friendly, with a dog beach and community oval very close by. The house is very flexible to suit all needs and configurations and was very clean, welcoming with generous supplies left for guest use. Ryan responded quickly to my request for assistance to arrange a dog sitter at short notice ,which enabled me to gravel bike ride the entire Wandandi Trail - another great adventure course by. Many thanks for the perfect stay for us ❣️🐾

Lovely stay with family. So much space and hang out areas so as a group of ten we never felt crammed. Quiet location, easy walk to the beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful stay for our first holiday with our 6 month old baby. Kangaroos jumping past the window amongst the serene bush property was stunning. Noela left goodies in the fridge for breakfast and a nibble which was a very thoughtful extra touch. Very happy with our cosy stay, would recommend!

My friends and I enjoyed our weekend away in this lovely accommodation. Short drive to the main areas of Busselton including the shops and Jetty. Home was well equipped. Beth is a very friendly host! Thank you for hosting us!

The seahorse was a wonderful stay. Everything was as described and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Veronica was extremely helpful and gave some excellent advice on things to do locally. Highly recommend the seahorse for anyone looking for an extremely relaxing stay within a beautiful house with outstanding views.

Really enjoyed our weekend away here! Enjoyed walking to the beach easily. The place was lovely and clean, all the appliances were useful, very handy to have the washing machine and dryer when staying with a baby and 3yo. Loved that there was plenty of towels! Beds were comfy too! Used the heated pool on-site and games room. Would love to come back and stay again another time.

Great location and walk to a private beach. Pool and tennis court were and added bonus. Location was great and short walk into town. Will definitely be back again.

The place is wonderful

This is our 3rd stay at Capeview beach resorts but our first in Joshua’s unit. It served our purpose by being close enough to Margaret River. The house is tidy and well maintained with a fully equipped kitchen. A family with kids would find the bikes and kayaks a bonus.
