Lovely place. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful spot in the Northumberland Straight! This home is was a perfect, relaxing getaway. It was very clean and cozy and welcoming and sitting in a hot tub while listening to the waves on the beach was wonderful. It was a great place to take a little time to relax and enjoy time for mother/daughter recharge. Would highly recommend and I hope to visit again!

Had a great stay here with my dad, i promised my dad a trip to pei for some fishing. Heidi & jeffs place felt like we never left home, infacted it felt like we brought our house with us on the island :)

The yellow cottage was truly perfect. Everything about the location was beautiful. The pictures doesn’t do the view justice, we spend so much time just on the patio drinking wine! Thank you so much for this lovely weekend

The cottage was homey and very comfortable. Julie always responded to us very quickly, and stayed on top of all of our questions. The beach was incredible, the kids had as much fun as us. We definitely would recommend, and would love to go back!

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful clean cottage! Our two golden retriever’s absolutely loved the big yard to play and the screened in porch to relax!

I've stayed at a fair amount of airbnb locations. Kathy was the most responsive and accommodating host yet. the location was perfectly suited to our needs.

Beautiful place right on the water. Weather was terrible but Blair’s place was nice and comfortable.

I can’t say enough great things about the cottage. Impeccably clean, beautifully kept, exactly as described in the ad. Very well appointed with literally anything you would need to stay there. Quiet, pristine setting in a beautiful little village. I will absolutely stay there again and would highly recommend this cottage to friends and family. This cottage was very close to the beach and the wharf which were wonderful. The hosts were very helpful when we had issues (coffee maker broken.) The cottage is very rustic but that adds character that we loved. I would return to this cottage without hesitation.

A beautiful place to stay! We wanted to have a peaceful weekend away with no one around us and that's what we got. The cottage is very cosy and warm even on cold days. It has a large garden where our pup could run and explore. There were a couple of other houses around but they were empty, only raccoons around us. Ross was very responsive and answered all our questions very promptly. We got local tips as well and visited the brewery (worth the visit), North Cape (beware the visitor centre is closed for the season, but it is a beautiful place to visit regardless), and the Confederation trail is only 5 minutes away. We are already planning to come back next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Christine’s cottage. It is a lovely, cozy ,modern cottage and had everything we needed and more. The surroundings are beautiful and although we didn’t use it, there is direct access to the water by stairs at the end of the yard. The location is a short drive to Cocagne and Shediac if we needed groceries or wanted to go to a restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place and we hope to return again one day.

A hidden gem! This cottage was top notch! The living room was big enough for us all to hang out together, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was spacious and the cottage itself was clean! It had everything needed (and more) to make our stay enjoyable. The location was perfect, a beautiful beach within a 3 minute walk, a large front and back yard for kids to play, a playground (10 minute drive), Parlee beach (25 minute drive). 2 nights was not long enough, there’s so much to do and see. Hoping to return next summer and enjoy more of what stones throw has to offer!

We enjoyed our stay very much! A very close walk to the amazing Parlee beach - it doesn't get any better than this little sweet spot. We enjoyed using the fire pit and also the recommendations of the restaurants. We hope to be back next year!

This is my 3rd year renting this lovely cottage from Denise. The cottage is clean, comfortable & well equipped. The screened in porch is my favorite space but the mini split (AC) was very appreciated given the super hot temps for part of my stay. Denise is very attentive & responds quickly to any inquiry. I have family nearby & so the location was ideal. Highly recommend! This place is a gem.

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to enjoy a few nights in this area of PEI. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! We will definitely try to come to Mitchell’s cottages again. Thank you Mitchell!

This cottage had both rustic charm and modern conveniences. The host provided a very useful guide that I wish all abnbs had! Appliances, furniture and decor made it feel like home; we had everything we needed to cook and feel comfortable with our kids. We were happy with the close proximity to the beach which was a 5 minute walk to the closest beach access with ramp. This is a great spot for a young family looking for a quiet peaceful beach vacation without the crowds you would find at Parlee Beach. Most days it was just us on the beach with the locals from the community on their daily walks. The community is friendly. Our neighbours were generally quiet. I recommend this cozy cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful seaside retreat!

Beautiful little cottage, well renovated and clean! Very quiet area. The beach at low tide is really good with children looking for small crabs or Bernard l 'hermite! The chalet is well located if you want to visit several places (Kouchibouguac, IPE, Fundy, etc.).
