Bright Coastal Studio close to City and Airport

Bright and airy studio. Newly refurbished in April 2020. Private outdoor patio. Conveniently located to the train and bus routes getting you in to Dublin City in around 20 minutes. Very close to the coast. Lovely walks towards Howth and Portmarnock and Malahide. Please note that the studio apartment is an extension to the rear of our house, it is not accessible to the house. Access via a side lane. Studio has private patio but we do have 3 young children who sometimes use the garden.

Walk right or left (5 mins) and you will be on a promenade, each with a different view. Further 5 mins and you will be on Burrow beach, Sutton, Dublin 13 or taking in the view over Dublin Bay at the Marine Hotel. We moved here to get the best of both - coastal living with near/quick/late night public transport to the City and Airport - 20 mins, Howth marina/wkend market/hill/cafes/restaurants & pubs. Our en-suite bedroom with private entrance is all yours. It is a bright guest room with your very own bathroom and shower. Our home is located 3 to 4 km south-east of Dublin's city centre. We are 6 min walking distance from the Aviva Stadium and 10 min from RDS. The City Centre is within reach by DART in 13 min. Sandymount is a lovely small village with restaurants, coffee shops, bars, pharmacies and a Tesco supermarket. The nearby Sandymount Strand is reachable in 6 min by foot.

My daughter and I spent 2 nights here and wish we could have stayed longer. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed and John even provided cereal, fruit, milk, etc. The location is great for visiting Dublin, a short journey on the Dart or Luas. John was a tremendous host, he was helpful, kind and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble. We felt very welcome and will definitely be back.

Joel’s place is very close to the centre, has a Lidl very close by and it’s a great place to stay while in Dublin. Price is pretty good, room is clean and cosy and we had a private bathroom and use of the kitchen. Didn’t have any issues! Recommend! ✨

From the moment I booked, Lynda was responsive, positive and helpful. She was always quick to respond, met me upon my (later than expected) arrival and helped if I had any questions. For me, the place was perfect- just outside the central city but easily accessible by transit or walking. It made it so quiet in the evening which was perfect for me- who explored a lot by day and had early nights. The area is safe and lovely.

My husband and I had wonderful few days at Jean’s. We were traveling around by car so it was easy to access attractions further from the airbnb, but it’d be totally doable without a car. The Johnnie Fox’s pub totally worth the money and the food and the vibes are exactly as described - fantastic, it is also located 5 min away by foot. There is a quiet time after 10pm at airbnb, which is understandable as the walls are thin and one can hear everything. The hosts left some basic food for us in the kitchen area - some things for breakfast etc, makes a big difference, very nice touch.
