Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown

Annmarie’s place is a wonderful little apartment in a quiet neighborhood right off the train, the train had you in the shopping district as well as the temple bar area in about 15 to 20 minutes super easy to navigate and it was a five minute walk from the apartment really easy. It was nice that you could stay in the quiet neighborhood and be right downtown in a few minutes, love the apartment really cozy bathroom was awesome. Would definitely stay there again.. within a five minute maybe 10 minute walk there’s a wonderful pub down the street which has good food as well as a great pizza place

Great place to stay while visiting family nearby. Super clean and lots of nice touches, like breakfast items in the fridge, bottle of wine and snacks. Felt like a personal welcome, which we appreciated.

Fiona's place was lovely - exactly as advertised and stocked with everything that we needed for a lovely stay. She also provided outstanding recommendations for local shopping and support for us, as we were there to drop our American Daughter off at school for UCD. The location was perfect - easy to find and accessible to great local amenities. I also felt very safe and comfortable. The beds were super comfy, unlimited hot water, a fully stocked kitchen and a very responsive host. We highly recommend Fiona's beautiful home.

We loved this home. This little seaside village is an adorable part of Dublin! It’s lovely to stroll the walkways and green spaces along the sea and there are bikes available at the rental! We loved all the little shops, pubs and cafes from Blackrock to Dalkey.Our 4 year old was able to burn off some jet lag on the scooter, swing and on the slide. I wish the rain had held off a bit to enjoy it all more but we did appreciate the amenities for children. There were puzzles, books and stools exactly where you want them when you have a small child. The only inconvenience was that 90% of bedroom closet, kitchen/bathroom cabinet space was unusable. They were either locked or filled to the brim with owner’s personal belongings. We were staying for 5days but traveling for 5wks so it didn’t allow us to unpack comfortably. There was nowhere available to put our toiletries in the bathroom so had to live out of the suitcase quite a bit …not the end of the world- otherwise, our stay was wonderful!

My family and I stayed at Clodagh’s place for a week over Christmas, and it did not disappoint! The apartment is spacious and well equipped, and Clodagh was the perfect host, with good communication and ensuring we had everything we need during our stay. We also enjoyed the live music from the pub, and would love to return in the summer to enjoy the private terrace. Thanks again Clodagh, we hope to see you again soon.

Our family had a lovely stay at Janet’s home. This was my third time in Dublin and it is challenging to find a home that can accommodate a family of six adults. This home was perfect. It has everything you could want in a rental home. The home is fully equipped, beds are comfortable and it’s beautifully decorated. Dalkey is so charming. It’s a 2 minute walk to the train that gets into city center in 20 minutes. There is a grocery store, coffee shop, bakery, pharmacy and multiple restaurants and pubs within a 5 minute walk. I highly recommend this rental.

Amazing location and a beautiful spacious house. Big fully functional kitchen for cooking the local fresh veg and fish. Would return without hesitation

My sister and I grew up in Dalkey and when we returned after 40 years, with two more generations, we wanted to stay in the village. Rory's house was very clean, it had three bathrooms, and it was minutes from the middle of town. This all was great after having stayed in some beautiful but very small Airbnbs. Rory was very helpful and accommodating when our plans changed a little and his communication was excellent, very friendly and timely. He provided information about the house, the appliances, and local attractions. We went on long walks up Killiney Hill, up the Cat's Ladder, and down to Coliemore Harbor. It is a great place to stay and Rory is a great host!

The house is even better than it looks in the photos. Beds were comfy. Lovely thoughtful welcome basket of goodies.The kitchen is massive with every modern device you could imagine. Both bedrooms are large with sleep-inducing matresses. suprisingly large garden. short walk to amazing sea swimming places.
