New and luxury accommodation with pool in a wonderful garden with own terrace in Panglao, Bohol. The apartment is fully equipped and has 2 rooms (separate bedroom and living room with kitchen area) and a bathroom with big bathtub (bath robs will be provided also). You should be pet friendly because our Mini-Schnauzer and Jack Russell Puppy Max are always around. We do not have life guard for the pool, so we accept only adults (teenager in the separate studio room unit would be accepted).

This beautifull villa is perfect for 1 to 8 guests. Has a big livingroom with a big sofa and 43 inch tv with Netflix. Complete kitchen. 3 airconditioned sleepingrooms with king and queen beds (luxe boxsprings). Bathroom with bowl, toilet, warm water shower. On request boat for island hopping only 3 minuts walk, ask caretaker for availability. 3 minutes with trycycle to Alona beach. Going to Alona you pass by lot of restaurants and bars. During your stay the caretaker can always assist you.

Though it wasn't a beachfront place, I can say that it's a nice place to stay since it has a peaceful ambience. The owner and staffs are friendly. I love the 24/7 coffee available and hot water as well as the heater is a plus points for me. I learned to travel a lot using trycabs so it's not an issue for me even it's 2km more or less to get to the Alona beach cuz it never gives me an hassles. The place was nice and I rest a lot without noise. No curfew so I enjoyed my time. So grateful to the owner. Thank you sir Ariel!

We loved staying on the island and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We always felt safe and looked after even when we made special requests. That said, the accomodations and most other things on the island are basic and outrageous. You will be paying 3000p/night for a grass hut after you paid the same for a private 2bdrm condo in Panglao with air-con. The included meals were tasty home-cooked simple fare. They will accomodate special needs, but do tell them in advance. There isn't much to do around the island but snorkel the 3 main sites. We saw one small turtle, and the sanctuary is mostly dead, but the coral garden was spectacular. Getting to the island was tricky. We decided to try to share a boat to avoid the tourist "special trip" ripoffs which are as common as rice in Phil. The host advised us to meet their boat at 8am, and we got there early, but nobody showed, and we waited 3 hours for a ride. We later learned why, the host doesn't live on the island so didn't know much

One of the best experience so far :) It seems more harder that it is to get to Gwendolyn house. Basically you can go to the island on your own or they will come to pick you up to Baclayon pier for a reasonable price. The boat is called 3’s Maria, they will be at the pier waiting for you (pier is not big, impossible not to find them) It takes about 45 min to get to the island and that's it, you are in Paradise :) Each time we got in the water, just in front of Gwendolyn’s house, we saw turtles, and beautiful corals, is not deep at all until you get at the reef. The room and terrace is quiet and peaceful, you can go for a walk around the island, meet the local people and walk at the seaside. No bars or restaurants in the island but they cook amazing food, have water, soft drinks, beer, etc. Don't need to worry. (no huge prices at all) If you are lucky they will take you to see whales and dolphins 😊
