Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Dulverton

We had a wonderful stay at Kate and Alistair’s place! They were incredibly welcoming and friendly, always quick to respond to our messages, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The property itself was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Our kids absolutely loved their basement room—it was a fun and cozy space for them. The welcome hamper was a thoughtful touch, and we enjoyed spending time together playing board games in front of the fire. The beds were clean and very comfortable, ensuring we had a restful night’s sleep. We also appreciated the little details throughout the house, which really made it a unique and special place to stay. Kate and Alistair were also incredibly generous with their hospitality. Since there were no guests following our stay, they kindly offered us a relaxed departure, which we really appreciated, especially after a late night at a theatre performance. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at Marina’s well appointed home from home - the house was just as expected from the listing and was a perfect size and location for our visit.

We had a nightmare travelling down but once we were there,Mo left us instructions to enter which was great. The house is amazing in a quiet remote setting. If you need to get away and relax The Foxes Den is an ideal place to do this. I would highly recommend anyone to visit here,you won’t be disappointed. A big thank you again to Mo for everything he did,really appreciate it.

There were 17 of us celebrating my daughter’s hen party. The venue was fabulous and very spacious everything we could wish for and Gill and George were quick to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend it to anyone you will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful stay. It’s a beautiful cottage in very peaceful surroundings. Sheila was a great host and only too happy to help. We would’ve loved to have stayed longer!

We had a fantastic week, the house was perfect for our family, the rooms were huge and the location and views were stunning. There's so many lovely places to visit within a short drive. I couldn't recommend the house and hosts highly enough.

Wow, Kristin's place is absolutely dreamy! It's so close to town and the train station, and every detail has been carefully thought out. We really wish we could stay longer!

Wonderful space for a relaxing few days away from it all. The fireplace, hot tub and pool table were a big pull for us and they didn't disappoint. The space was clean, well maintai ed and loved the wood and wrought iron features. Would definitely reccomend!

We loved our stay, super cosy, relaxing, we had everything we needed, great parking space right outside the door, shop nearby, lovely walk to the beach which was lovely. Would definitely stay again

This holiday home was very clean and welcoming, Tracey &Richard was very welcoming we got there very early, i phone Tracey too ask ifcan leave our car and she said come inside and drop our thing's off , Richard gave us the keys and we walked down to the beach, Came back later to find Tracy have left us, tea,coffee, milk and biscuits 😋. Very lovely. And a big yes we would love to go back again, Mike & Jo

Well located for centre of town and also the hospitals. A really lovely comfortable well equipped and stylish apartment. Anna Lisa was very responsive to any queries responding straight away which was great .

Our stay at Buckland House was very enjoyable. Christina gave us a very warm welcome. The apartment was very bright, well equipped and comfortable with fabulous views of the church and countryside. The countryside around offers stunning walks with plenty of country pubs and restaurants. A great place to stay for our short break.

What a wonderful stay at Mark’s, he was a fantastic host easy to contact and great recommendations. We had everything we needed on our doorstep so went out for a couple of drinks in the town just across the road then had a Chinese delivered. Felt very cosy in the flat with everything you need, the bed was extremely comfy and was super quiet even though you were close to town. Would love to go back again It was a perfect stop off on our way to visit family in Cornwall Thankyou Mark for making our stay so welcoming.

Sometimes it's what a host does in exceptional circumstances that needs to be reviewed instead of the accomodation. Jose is a incredibly kind and fair host. In exceptional circumstances he was unable to let his place to us at the last minute as see omeone else needed it more. To rectify this he went above and beyond anything we expected by booking us into Hotel du Vin in Exeter for our stay at a significant cost to himself. His communication throughout was excellent and as a result we had a wonderful stay even though sadly it was not in his place.

Second stay at Pascale’s - love this apartment. It’s really spacious but cozy at the same time. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay - the milk and wine were an added bonus. Easy to contact the host if needed.

We had a lovely stay at Bentley Rise. Peaceful and surrounded by a beautiful garden. The wood burner was a real bonus and so cosy. Everything was perfect and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the river walk to the town which was easy - we would love to come again! Thank you so much ☺️

We had a fantastic holiday here. The combination of location in Topsham, riverside garden, characterful historic property and courtyard garden is wonderful. Richard was a great and responsive host. The small (free) Museum two doors down is recommended - and you can also have homemade cake or cream tea in their lovely garden. It wasn't clear to us from the listing that access to Bedroom 3, and to the bathroom with shower, is via Bedroom 4. If you have a larger vehicle, you may want to walk round and have a look before driving up the narrow lane (with kink) leading to the garage - I was ok in a Focus Estate, but with wing mirrors in and very little space to spare (but you'll be lucky to get a space on the Strand). But in conclusion, we had a wonderful and very memorable holiday.

The comms and welcome were perfect. Great position with amazing views across the bay. Walking distance to everything you need. Very clean and tidy. Beds were good enough. Seems a little bit expensive for a fairly old style caravan but we had a great time and knew what we were getting so overall very happy with this booking. Thank you for being so friendly.

A unique set of suites in a very large gorgeous house. There was so much room for our family ranging from 3 to 73! The communal area was used all the time and the bar area was a wonderful bonus. It really became our ‘home’ for the week and we all felt very relaxed. The suites were first rate having everything you could possibly need and provided the ‘bolt hole’ where people had their own space as well. There are so many beaches close by which we visited- Hele, Combe Martin and Woolacombe- great for paddle boarding, kayaking and surfing- we had a busy time! Neil was such a good host providing very quick responses to my many questions in such a friendly way! Would highly recommend this property for a large group. Thank you Neil.

Rose Cottage is a lovely, old fashioned, quirky cottage - with lots of interesting objet d’art to discover throughout your time there. I loved how it is tucked away from the street, making it a really private space. Danielle was really informative about the surrounding areas and was on hand for queries. The living space downstairs is really relaxing (two of us learnt how to play chess in the lounge!) The outdoor space is really valuable as, I should imagine, in Appledore having a big garden is a real treat. The location is amazing - a minute’s stroll down to the quay - with the wonderful local shop, John’s, a stone’s throw away. We had fantastic weather, having lots of hot beach days in Croyde and Saunton Sands, but also loved catching the 5 minute ferry across to Instow village and beach. The attics bedrooms were a little warm (it was a very hot week), but Danielle kindly provided us with a fan which certainly helped on the top floor. Appledore is a magical place with beautiful cottages, great restaurants and Sylvester’s fish and chips are scrumptious - the first time I think I have ever managed to eat a whole battered cod! Thanks Danielle for a truly wonderful week’s holiday with the family.

Had a wonderful time. The place felt very secluded with amazing amenities and stunning sea view. Neil was very friendly and helpful too and even left us chocolates and champagne to help us celebrate a special occasion. Would love to stay here again sometime.

Bracken House was perfect in every way for my family to get together with me and celebrate my 70th birthday. It’s spacious, live in, kitchen provided a family hub, and its sense of stairs and corridors to distant corners created a mini wonder world for the children. The bedrooms and their huge beds were so comfortable I fell asleep each night without trying. I congratulate the owners on the way the house is so well stocked with good furniture and a range of amenities. We all felt sorry to leave on Monday morning after a wonderful and happy weekend.

Amazing location with stunning views and great property that is ideal for a large family gathering! The garden was the star for us and our four legged friends - we all really enjoyed the space and privacy. 👌We had a family ‘Sports day’ one day for all twelve of us and there was more than enough room. The house itself has everything you need for a relaxing stay and there are loads of really good places to visit and eat at - some great pubs and we’d really recommend the vineyard five minutes down the road for a tour! (@Swanaford Vineyard). Some of the local roads are a little tight for space - one car only but if you go slowly and be respectful of other road users it’s fine. We also tried some local golf courses, Teign Valley the closest, all gave some good challenges but are also really well looked after. We also had a private chef one night (@LeFrog) which made for a very special anniversary celebration. Would highly recommend if you are a large group booking the whole place.
