Offering tons of nature and beautiful surroundings. One of the 2 pools is only 150 steps away. the beach is 950 steps...or you can drive and park at the resort entrance. We have pickle ball and a boat ramp. You can park your boat behind your unit if you wish and the fishing is great! we provide all beach accessories!!

Jon's apartment was fantastic! The place we were supposed to stay at cancelled the day of and Jon was very responsive and helpful with our last-minute booking. We were in town for the Shamrock Marathon and the apartment was very close to all the events. Will stay here again next time we're in Virginia Beach!

Long term stay dream! The property is a peaceful oasis directly on the Chesapeake Bay! Feels small town safe and is tucked away in nature yet the best possible location in the center of Hampton Roads!! Being able to walk down my stairs and hop on a kayak made each day feel like vacation! The joy of spending time with all the wildlife, plus visiting their chickens and ducks. But what made this stay truly special was the family. Bodie and his family are some of the kindest, most loving, and helpful people I've ever met. They made me feel right at home from day one and went above and beyond in every way, all the way up to date 105! This wasn’t just a place to stay, it became a second home. I can’t recommend this wonderful family and property enough!

Having grown up in Virginia Beach, I was excited to return and chose the North End away from the Boardwalk hubbub. This property was conveniently located to access Shore Drive and Chick's Beach (bayfront), Fort Story, 1st Landing State Park (entrance at the end of the street!), short walk to residential beach (ocean front), and easy drive to Rudee's Inlet and the boardwalk. The cottage had plenty of space, very comfortable, good water pressure, lived as pictured. As an AirBnB host myself, I was surprised that shampoo/conditioner/body wash was not provided. Additionally, for the rental price, the kitchen's glassware, silverware, pots/pans, and dishware could use replenishing and/or an upgrade (we hosted a dinner of 7 adults with mix-and-match wine glasses and ran short on plates and serving utensils). Overall, it was a great rental that was ideally located to our activities over a 5-day stay, and we would stay here again.

It’s hard to put into words the satisfaction we felt after leaving this property!! The hosts thought of everything you could possibly need while on vacation in a “home away from home”. If you didn’t have something, they are a quick text away with helpful, friendly answers and suggestions! The kayaks were a GREAT amenity. Our family used them even more than we expected. The beach was just a short 8-10min walk , and we even used the provided wagons to haul our necessities! The beach was clean, calm, and beautiful! Plenty of dish ware to cook and enjoy meals , family games provided, TV’s in every room, you won’t run out of fun! Walk out your back door, there’s your oasis!!! Stunning in ground pool, plenty of seating, lounge chairs, grill, outside shower convenience, and a deck down by the water to enjoy sunsets and sunrises 😊 Regina connected with me a few days before arriving and made sure no questions went unanswered! Highly recommend this property and hosts! We will definitely be back!

We were in town to visit with and host family and had a fantastic stay. The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, secure, and in a good location. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and enjoy one another’s company. The bedroom on the ground floor was critical for one of our older family members and the newly renovated bathroom on the ground floor was lovely. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook and entertain, making it perfect for our group during the holidays. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay!

The house is amazing! It is very well decorated and feels comfy. Our hosts were so helpful. One of them reached out to our teens with fishing rods and a corn hole set. They also had the exact amount of chairs for the firepit. The wood was already chopped and they had a bucket of sand for extinguishing the fire. Each bedroom had a welcome tray, with necessities needed and some treats for pampering. These 2 think of everything. The coffeee bar was set up with creamer, sugar, coffee pods, to-go cups with lids and stirrers. A display of blueberry scones on the coffee bar was a special touch. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner amd body wash. The sink had hand soap and lotion. One of my favorite touches was the black washcloths over the sink. Anyone who wears makeup knows those bright white towels look awful if you don't get every bit of makep off. My family and inwill be back. We were there only for the weekend, unfortunately. Our next stay will be a few days.

This place was amazing! Paula was very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. If you want a quiet, beautiful place to stay with a 5 minute walk to the beach, this is the place. It is very clean, has everything you need to cook with, washer, dryer, you name it! Oh, and the WiFi is particularly fast! Recommended 10/10!

Our stay was lovely! Angelique and James were amazing hosts and their fresh eggs were amazing as well! It was peaceful and spacious for us. We would definitely stay again if the dates lined up for all of us. If you’re looking to stargaze the back deck was perfect for it.
