Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Downtown, Norfolk

A little out dated and could use some minor repairs, but overall great location, nice vibe, perfect price for this place! 2 adults and 3 kids had plenty of room for the 5 days we were here. Having beach chairs and boogie boards at the location was also a nice touch!

Overall, a great place to stay after the summer season was over. The apartment complex had turned off few of the amenities, but it was manageable.

Jenna is a great host. Very responsive, personable throughout the process. Location is great. Right in the beach. Several restaurants are walkable. Beach here has a playground for the kids and a work out set up for those inclined. Pools and spa were great, especially on bad weather days.

Place was far nicer than expected from pictures .... private parking in back . Nice lake with fountains behind unit Location was right in the middle of anything and everything you could want or need. I was worried about noise but you would have never known you were right in the middle of everything. I travel for work about 80% of the time out of all the places I stayed this was definitely top 5.

It is a beautiful place, close to everything, the only dislike is we saw roaches on our last 2 days of our stay. Than we notice the roach traps.

Clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Steps from the beach and minutes from Grommet Island Park, a big hit with our grandson. Brooke’s prompt and professional responses made this impromptu stay uncomplicated and enjoyable

Perfect location, just steps away from the beach. Amazing views! Absolutely loved our stay here! Before we left to come home the kids were asking to return! Definitely will be booking again, not only this listing, but with Reggie as well!

Great location at the end of the boardwalk. Perfect for a long or short stay.

We loved Brookes place! It was so spacious & clean! We really loved the view of the beach from our balcony! Brooke was very great at responding fast. Will deff book next time I’m at the beach again. Thank you so much Brooke for everything!

The place is absolutely perfect. The host is extremely responsive. the location is second to none. the condo looks right out onto the beach. there is a top notch Mexican restaurant on-site. across the street is a delicious restaurant with super fresh fish. the facilities are great. on-site perfect gym. two pools, which is great for the kids. Eric has a fully stocked storage unit with plenty of beach items. no need to lug your chairs and toys, he has them all. the unit is a corner unit, so plenty of sunshine. it is also perfectly situated between the two pools. thenstairs right next to the unit go out to one pool and the beach. the unit was completely immaculate which is tough for a beach condo, usually there is sand in some places when you check-in, not here. this stay was great, the host was responsive, and to be cliche the only drawback was we had to leave :)

My family and I decided to do a last minute end of summer trip. I was able to find this gem. House was 5 mins from their local beach driving, which was great & they provided a couple of beach amenities. House looks small from the outside but very spacious and modern in the inside. Loved the kitchen! Great place, def worth checking out.

My family stayed here this past weekend for a cheer competition! By far this is the best Airbnb I have stayed in yet. It was very clean and spacious. I love the elevator accommodations since my aunt has knee problems, it was very helpful. I loved the kitchen and how open it was. The location and access to the beach was amazing. I would most definitely stay here again if we come back to the beach.

Waterfront, Arcade, Great location for us, and a host that roots for the same teams I do… Joseph was very quick and responsive to any questions or food recommendations I needed… the neighborhood is so quite I almost wondered do people actually live there, finally day 3 I saw a kid playing basketball, so it was not fake houses🤣🤣.. Thanks Joseph for everything and allowing me and my family to make great memories with my grandson in VA….

If I could give 6* I would. Not having been in this area was like driving into somewhere like Beverly Hills. The added bonus of a pristine beach less than 100m walk away. To our surprise the beach was. It without sightings of multiple dolphins each visit. The house itself was extremely cosy. Good communal areas. Gym room outside along with a large deep jacuzzi that was always hot on entry. The house was surprisingly larger inside than the photos actually show. Multiple spaces for up to 4 cars infront of the house. The locals were all very polite even to the point that our next door neighbour knocked on the door to explain which way to leave the bins. I would recommend this place to anyone and will 110% come here again. The access and positioning as close as the house is to the beach is amazing. Thank you so much. 6* ;)

This place was perfect for our family! The suite had a private room with its own bathroom and Kitchenette and then a separate suite with living room, kitchen, bedroom and large bathroom. It was very comfortable and the onsite service was fantastic. Located near many attractions and restaurants.
