The Place in Rye - Peaceful, spacious cottage

The Place in Rye is located in The Mint in the very centre of historic Rye, and sleeps 4. The newly renovated cottage has two light and airy bedrooms each with king size beds, ample storage space and their own luxury bathroom. There is a new fitted kitchen, dining area and comfortable sitting room, WIFI, smart TV and small library. There is a peaceful sunny courtyard with outside seating for 4. There is a car park 50 meters from the cottage. Sorry we do not accept children under 12 and no pets.

A private independent generously sized detached annexe building within a countryside setting yet 5 mins drive to Canterbury city centre and the Uni. Accessed via secure metal gates on a long private gravel driveway situated along the route of the original 'Crab and Winkle' railway. The 1st regular steam passenger railway in the world. The property is not visible from the road. The two nearest pubs are The Hare at Blean and The Royal Oak, both situated in Blean and literally a five min drive.

You certainly won’t forget your time in this intimate Garden Room sunken into the grounds of our garden with stunning views of our paddock/ old orchard and surrounding countryside of the beautiful village of Hernhill. We have great sunsets in this area which you can watch from the Garden room.

The Lodge

The Lodge is a 1st storey contemporary apartment. This is an ideal space for a couple, or business travellers. There is one bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, plenty of storage space and en-suite shower room. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. In the sitting room, there is a sofa bed, if needed. The room enjoys a balcony with great views and great sunsets. A perfect spot to watch the sun go down with a glass of wine or cup of tea.

Alistair's place is a newly renovated property in a central location in the heart of Margate, a few minutes walk from Dreamland, the beach and the Old Town, with the Winter Gardens nearby. A 2 bedroom terraced house set over 3 floors with an open-plan kitchen and living space. The house is 100 metres from Banksy’s latest confirmed artwork, of February 2023. This property welcomes 1 well behaved, friendly dog.
