Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Dinwiddie County

The place was really nice in a quiet neighborhood, I wish we could have booked it in the summer to use the grill in the back, so a nice little retreat for my family it felt like home. My family would use this place again.

This was the first time I stayed in an Airbnb and was nervous. But, this place far exceeded my expectations and I will for sure use Airbnb again. And, when back in Richmond, I will for sure book this property again!!! I highly recommend it!!

The house was spacious and a great home base while we were in Richmond. The third room upstairs worked perfectly for us because we could put a PackNPlay in there for our toddler. Close to bars and restaurants.

We loved this house! Very comfortable to live in for a month which is what we did in Feb 2025. The location is perfect for every type of restaurant you can imagine. Shopping right outside the door. Very, very nice and 3 parking spots in the rear!

The backyard gazebo and lights were perfect for relaxing and having casual conversation. The kitchen is beautiful. Our dog LOVED the backyard. Alex was both proactive and highly responsive. The information and house rules were easy to find and easy to manage. All in all, a great experience.

Great place to stay, local restaurants are awesome.

We stayed at Katy's for a small family gathering and to see the sights in Richmond. The property was private, peaceful and serene. We enjoyed the trains passing across the canal but others might not. The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood with quick and easy access to many parks, museums and other activities. We had no issues with the house or amenities and Katy promptly and helpfully responded to our questions.

What a great house in a great location. My family was in town for a wedding. This house is centrally located for all events spread across Richmond. Plenty of room for family of six. Dain was great with communicating. And Mama Js Kitchen across the street is a must. Thanks for everything.

The place is big and was perfect for our office party. Everybody enjoyed their stay and had everything we needed. We will be back definitely in the summer.

This is a nice old house, very private and well-maintained for an older building. The bed I slept in was very, very comfortable! As Carlissa mentions, there is a loud train. I just brought my noisemaker which covered up a lot of the sound. I felt very comfortable and knew that my dogs were welcome. I would definitely stay here again! If you are looking for new and "luxurious," go somewhere else. If you are looking for "cute" and "nostalgic" at a great price, stay here!

Rubens place was perfect for our family who had come from 5 states for our son’s wedding 2 miles from the house. Plenty of room to spread out, even more beds than advertised, all bathrooms are spacious—so much better than the pictures. Ruben was very open and responsive and stopped by. Our granddaughter loved the trampoline and the swing set!

Place was just as described. We had a good stay at the host’s secure and quiet apartment. Would certainly consider staying in the future. A good place for a couple people staying for a brief trip to RVA. Host was very responsive and provided all listed amenities.

Winston was communicative and open to a booking on short notice. This is a solid place to spend a night if you have doggos and need something quick and easy.

Amazing location, the best stay we have had. The views was scenic, peaceful, beautiful! We loved this place sooo much! Clean in side, has everything you need from port to pans to linens and comforters. So much fun here!

This house is awesome. It's huge and priced very competitively. It did have issues, but they didn't bother us too much. If you're expecting perfection from a home this size, at this location at this price, you're not being reasonable. For our needs, it was PERFECT.

What a beautiful place! The cottage was immaculate, comfortable, and homey. The view of the lake from the living room was so peaceful. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the kayaks or fishing poles this trip but we definitely will return and do that. Ann left us some super delicious blueberry muffins and Jim was very welcoming. They were quick to respond to all questions and were accommodating when we needed to arrive late. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Ashley was amazing! When I told some issues she came and looked into it and fixed it ASAP. (Issue was very minor). The layout was great, sofas comfortable enough that you could sleep on them! Backyard was great for my two large dogs! Ashley was great! This is a perfect place for temporary housing or for like me for in between houses where I sold and had to wait a couple weeks until I could get into my new place!

Last minute booking for a soccer tournament weekend. We loved the apartment...felt very homey...2 floors with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, spacious and great views and amazing location...right above the most popular restaurant in town We walked out and about and ate many meals at the local restaurants and enjoyed them all! Great little town for a weekend stay...loved the ease of parking across street and the ability to walk around the little town and enjoy things and walk our dog. Gets a bit noisy at night but, they have now provided white noise machines in the 2 bedrooms on bottom floor which helped tons and we brought one for the top floor...but, it's alot less noisy up there. Great place to stay.

Casey's place was one of the nicest lodgings on Airbnb that I've/we've had. The Henry Lofts are beautiful and equal to the home I am used to. Clean, beautifully decorated, near restaurants and walkable, and a very enjoyable stay. Casey was always responsive and when I didn't understand the heating Casey addressed the situation immediately. I plan to visit and stay regularly now when in Petersburg. He wrote a welcome note and a lovely Guidebook with a description of places to see and his rating. Thank you Casey!!

Katie’s home was lovely and looks just like the photos. Beds were super comfy, outdoor space was amazing, check in/out easy, and Katie responded to every question we had. Dogs friendly with a fenced yard for our pups to roam! Will definitely be staying again next time we’re visiting family in Virginia.

Definitely enjoyed our stay at Madelyn's place! very clean and makes use of the space to give you all the essentials! Madelyn was also a wonderful host and very responsive!

Katie’s place was a home away from home when we were displaced due to the LA fires. She not only was incredibly kind, helping us with accommodation and giving us supplies to last our stay after we had to extend. She was also very personable and made us feel safe. The home was cozy, from the large tv, to the comfy memory foam beds and the beautiful outdoor seating area.. it truly was a 10 out of 10 experience for my family. Our pets loved the yard and the room to move around in the home. Truly we cannot wait to stay with Katie again when we are vacationing to see family in the future!

We spent a wonderful two nights in the cabin. The location right on the lake was gorgeous and we enjoyed watching the mist rise off the water each morning. The house is well appointed, clean, tidy and comfortable. Amelia was a great host with prompt communication. Highly recommended!
