The apartment was very comfortable and spacious…liked that the bedrooms were on opposite sides for added privacy. The kitchen is well equipped, loved the coffee pods provided…good quality pots and pans… Tera was responsive to messages and very accommodating…We really enjoyed our stay!

Last minute booking for a soccer tournament weekend. We loved the apartment...felt very homey...2 floors with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, spacious and great views and amazing location...right above the most popular restaurant in town We walked out and about and ate many meals at the local restaurants and enjoyed them all! Great little town for a weekend stay...loved the ease of parking across street and the ability to walk around the little town and enjoy things and walk our dog. Gets a bit noisy at night but, they have now provided white noise machines in the 2 bedrooms on bottom floor which helped tons and we brought one for the top floor...but, it's alot less noisy up there. Great place to stay.

Very charming and tasteful renovations. The house was spacious, clean and cozy. Had an issue getting into the house due to the lock, but the host was quick to respond and was able to let us in within minutes of notification. So thankful for the excellent communication and customer service. Will definitely stay here again!

My stay at Weldon’s Place was absolutely wonderful. I needed to rest in a peaceful environment and that’s what I got. The cottage was clean, had everything I needed and the bed was so comfortable. It was so beautiful to sit at the kitchen table and look out at the pond and how well kept the grounds were. Jackson was friendly and I can’t wait to stay again. If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway with nature…this is it.

Madelyn's offering was all we needed for a one-night stay. As she listed, you have to walk through the adjoining bedroom for bathroom access which could be a problem. We slept in separate bedrooms since I snore, but walking through the bedroom for my wife of 54 years wasn't an issue. The interior was spotless, and all the beds were VERY comfortable. The reason for a four-star rating on the neighborhood was only because it's an up and coming area of Petersburg, Virginia. Some of the adjoining houses were in the renovation phase, so we were a little surprised when we turned onto the street. However, our stay was great with a quiet night.

We rented the place for an extended stay as we moved from out of state and were waiting to move into our new home Alvin and Darlene provided us with a place we could call home for a few weeks and we couldn’t have been happier. The place was kept very clean. Great condition of appliances. Loved the high speed WiFi, the 4 TVs, the backyard. The space to eat, work, sleep and relax. Lots of take out available, as well as grocery shopping. Alvin and Darlene have put a lot of love into that home, an atmosphere we could feel! We can only recommend the home!

We loved our stay at Amelia’s cabin! It is such a beautiful location and so peaceful. Our family had the best time fishing from the dock, going out on the canoe, enjoying the hot tub and having a bonfire. We would definitely come back! Our dogs had the best time swimming as well. Amelia was always very responsive, friendly and helpful! She is a wonderful host!

Ashley was amazing! When I told some issues she came and looked into it and fixed it ASAP. (Issue was very minor). The layout was great, sofas comfortable enough that you could sleep on them! Backyard was great for my two large dogs! Ashley was great! This is a perfect place for temporary housing or for like me for in between houses where I sold and had to wait a couple weeks until I could get into my new place!

Very quiet place, peaceful. Mia was very hospitable, and everything was set up very nice. She was available anytime I had a question, or needed anything in the home. Definitely recommend for a place to stay while in the area.

Visit Petersburg & stay in a mansion! On our recent trip to Petersburg we stayed at the Strawberry Hill Inn, a fully restored mansion that was built in 1792. The inn has several rooms that are all decorated differently making each guest's experience unique. We were originally going to stay in the Hearth Room but, switched to the Barksdale Suite on the first floor. Our suite was large with a king sized bed and a separate seating area. While the room is decorated beautifully with art and furniture that will take you back in time, there are modern amenities like a tv, mini fridge, and nespresso machine. The bed was so comfortable and we woke up each day restored and ready to explore the amazing Old Towne Petersburg area. The grounds of the property are beautiful with flowers, shade, and plenty of seating areas for you to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Cozy, Rural Room in Chesterfield, VA

Rachel and Tommy were very welcoming. We had some good chats, getting to know each other. They were very considerate to share their house with us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, etc in order to make our meals. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. They have a nice backyard that looks out into a field. We would have been able to stay and relax at their house, while they were at work, but it turned out that we made last minute plans to visit relatives near by. They have 2 cats that were quite friendly. The 2 dogs were taken to a family member while they were at work. The house was nice and clean and homey. Thank you, Rachel and Tommy for your great hospitality.

I felt right at home. Amazing stay. I would recommend it to anyone. House is clean and has all the amenities you need. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Restaurants and stores are close by. The hospitality was above and beyond. I'd stay again
