Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Detroit Lakes

Our group is a bunch of busy adults that needed some time to connect as friends. We all have a variety of interests, and this rental met all our needs. From equipment to enjoy being on the water, games to hangout in the yard, or comfortable places to sit and catch up - we had it all.

We had a delightful stay at the Little Blue Door. Sean was super accommodating in allowing us to check in a tiny bit early in order to change before heading to a funeral. That was super helpful and much appreciated. Incredible responsiveness and just a nice cozy environment.

Perfect home in a beautiful setting! The size and lay out of the home was ideal for our family of four (kids 7 & 5) and Grandparents. We came up to find The Trolls (& Rabbit) and found so much more to do as well! The fire pit and big side yard were wonderful hang out spots after our daily adventures. City Park was a great spot for the kids to play (and grown ups with a fun disc golf course, walking trails, and walkable to Main Street of shops & restaurants). Also loved shopping at Manna Food Co-Op and hitting up some local restaurants…Anne has great recommendations in her guidebook! If you are up in the area for other fun and enjoy being outside I’d highly recommend searching for the Thomas Dambo Trolls…all paths/trails (besides Rabbit which is a bit more moderate to intense depending on the person) are very manageable and easy! I’d highly recommend this home to anyone heading to the area!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandy Shores. The home was super clean, the kitchen and throughout was so well appointed with all of the little things that made our stay more enjoyable. The scenery and location were terrific-right on the lake with a beautiful south view. The beds were so comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen was so well stocked with little extras and goodies-we will definitely be booking with Sandy Shores again! 5 Star all the way!

The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—on a quiet street not too far from anything but away from busier roads. The host was thoughtful and had the place well-stocked with essentials, a few snacks, and instructions. I highly recommend it for a relaxing and hassle-free stay!

This place was perfect for our mini getaway over MEA break. I imagine it's even better during the summer when it's warm enough to be on/in the water! We had plenty of space and everything we needed, especially for staying in to cook meals. The golf cart was a hit and it was really fun to take a few strolls throughout the small neighborhood. Had the weather cooperated for a campfire, that would have been super easy to do. Plus, it overlooked the lake. Aaron was really responsive to all of my questions. Would certainly stay again!

Great place and we will definitely return in the future. Trisha & Chris are kind and very hospitable. The apartment is clean and well equipped. Beautiful, peaceful location but just a short drive into town. We look forward to our next visit!

This was the perfect getaway spot. The balcony was in a great location to enjoy the lake and the beautiful sunsets! Anna was a great hostess! I would definitely stay here again!

We had a beautiful fall weekend getaway in Cabin 11. It was very private,gorgeous view of the lake! As soon as we came into our cabin it smelled like maple syrup, so nostalgic and cozy. The jacuzzi tub was so much fun, and we had plenty of space. It's an impressive property, we enjoyed walking the grounds, we didn't utilize many amenities just because we were relaxing. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, they even gave us some firewood! Fully stocked kitchen came in real handy. I miss it already!

This was a very comfortable stay for three adults. Our experience was exactly as expected. Bee and Paul were proactive and responsive in their communication. We'd gladly stay here again if the need arose.

Bee and Paul’s was very beautiful to stay at. The scenery was amazing and the hot tub was perfect for the night we utilized it. They had very great communication and Paul was really helpful with every question we asked. We went there for a bachelorette party and their recommendation list provided was a great guide to local restaurants. Location was great as it was private yet a larger town was only 15 mins away in case we needed anything. Thank you for having us!

Judith was very easy to work with and communication was fast. The bread from their farm is amazing. The place was nice and quiet when I was there. Tucked in the woods but right off of the main road. I needed to extend my stay and Judith was very accommodating. Would stay again!

Great space overlooking the lake! Big balcony, large living and dining area -- which is good for a family of 6 like ours! A little dated in decor, but clean, and everything that needed to work did. Parking in the winter was a little tricky, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

My family and I were there for We Fest and had a great time! Location was perfect! Close to We Fest location, pretty view across from lake. Nice walking path by lake. Restaurants close by. Airbnb was very nice. Very clean. Host was very friendly and responsive. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Loved the host dogs upstairs :) Would absolutely stay here again.

Would recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to stay in Detroit Lakes, easy access to beach, parks, and downtown businesses. Very comfortable place to stay and good host
