Vacation rentals with lake access in Destin Harbor

Great location and perfect for our family! Very clean and looked just as described in photos. Walking distance to great ice cream!! The only thing is you have to get to the beach early to set up your spot before the Beach Bouncer puts out all the private beach signs!! Each day seemed to get smaller for the public beach! Other than that it was a great house for the beach getaway celebration my family enjoyed it and we would consider going back for sure!!

We had a great stay at Todd’s house. The kids enjoyed the decorations, bunk beds, and loved the pool. The heater on the pool was nice to have! The beach was a 3 minute walk. Appreciate that they were very responsive when we had any questions.

Karen’s place was beautiful, right on the water with a semi-private small beach right around the corner. Perfect for kids. Super helpful and accommodating! Thanks !

We had an enjoyable stay and Quynh was communicative and helpful in recommending things to do. The place was clean and cozy and although not convenient to walk the beach access is a quick drive and had ample parking. There was plenty of beach essentials provided to borrow. Overall we had a great time and perfect two small families.

Sunny Beaches is a wonderful beach vacation home in an upscale location. typical Florida Beach front community. lots of activity, dining, and entertainment close by. also plenty to do around the greater ft. Walton/Destin Metro area. we had a very nice time. the only real issues we had was the confusion regarding the use of the beach and the beach access. the private owners on either side of the public access have hired a manager who seems to think he knows the law better than what the city has posted on line. regardless, there is plenty of access to the amazing Gulf. thank you Hayley for providing such a wonderful beach vacation home.

Loved this place. We had some glitches checking in (lock code was not provided) and you have to understand that this is almost like 2 separate places in one building). Also we had some issues with the beach not being public but we figured out how to get to another spot. So overall it was a great location and great place to visit. Oversee did provide a $300 credit for the lack of info so we are happy with everything overall.

Absolutely one of the best spots we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. First Airbnb booking, and my family preferred this over any cabin, hotel suite, or bed and breakfast that we have been to. Perfect for our short, 5 day, get away!

Great location, very close to beach and nice spot on the water. My group and I loved it and are already talking about going back!

Eileen’s place was AMAZING!! Very clean, chic, convenient to many amenities, and did I say clean!! The only thing I could have wished for would have been for more flexibility with check in and out times, (but she explained prior to booking) so it wasn’t an inconvenience, just a “wish” of mine ☺️ Plenty of space for everyone, we did not want to leave and already planning for the next vacation to book with Eileen! Do not let this rental slip by, hurry and book, if not you will regret it 😉

We LOVE this place!! Rick and Sylvia made us feel like part of the family. More then everything you need!! Fishing , restraints, beautiful natural surroundings. They gave us helpful tips on restraints, attractions , helped us fish and became good friends. The sweetest hosts we have ever had!! Very friendly but private. They provided everything!! And then some!! Helped us out soooo sooo much on sooo many levels. We came for a rodeo and just wanted a cool place to stay. This is definitely a gem of a place!! The space was super clean and equipped with everything. They also provided a lot of fishing equipment and a kayak and hammock for hanging out in between time. We got to hang out with them a bit, we are social . They are very cool!! Super sweet, helpful friendly, would give the shirt off their back kind of people!! This is what we look for in an Airbnb. They truly care about their guests!! Above and beyond for comfort!! The stay was incredible!! Thank you!! Can't wait to come back!!!

My stay was wonderful, me and my daughter’s really enjoyed the area. Simona’s condo is a must stay, it’s clean and equipped with everything you need in a home. We felt at home and I was very comfortable. The area was surrounded by everything…walking distance to the beach, all the favorite (well my favorite) restaurants to eat. Did I mentioned the complex had a two pools? Easy to get in and out of the complex, I loved it and enjoyed my stay. Thank you Simona for allowing us to spend our spring vacation in your condo. We/I look forward to booking with you again.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for her birthday. We really enjoyed how cozy and clean it was on day one! The location is super close to everything, from the beach, to restaurants, bars, stores, and other fun activities in Destin! We got the sunset come through the balcany window, lots of space and plenty lf amenitities to enjoy the whole weekend. It felt like home! Highly recommend!! Thank you, Olesea!!

Marina’s place was tidy, modern, and spacious! Me and my partner had a great time on the porch looking out at turtles and ducks in the steam behind her home! The bed was very comfortable and perfect for mid day naps after the beach! Water pressure in the shower is amazing! There is not a television in the bedroom but there is one in the living room. No water or ice in the fridge/ freezer. Beach is 100% walkable but you will be crossing main roadways in town. Overall great stay and great experience! Perfect for us in a pinch, and will be looking forward to staying here again.

The place was wonderful and exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking for. Annie was a great host and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

We enjoyed our stay at Sandy and Larry's place. We have stayed off 30A several times but this was our first in Santa Rosa Beach. We go to this area specifically for the 18 mile pedestrian path. It's a wonderful location for walking and biking. This place was right by Eastern Lake and due to having double red flags the weekend we were down we were able to still enjoy the water play! I highly recommend.

Connie's cottage was just as described in the pictures & her description. She was always available to answer questions. My family loved her art work she displayed throughout her home & outside. Incorporating her incredible paintings & glass masterpieces gave an eclectic/European feeling. The master bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on with cotton sheets that were cool with a beautiful. Each room had its own t.v & plenty of room to relax after a long day at the beach. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Connie also left us with sparkling water & water bottles in the fridge. She also provided a small cooler along with beach chairs, umbrella, wagon and lots of toys, everything we needed for the beach. Her home was at the end of the street which made it private. Pretty twinkling lights and decorative art work covered the porch & arch ways around the property. My family stayed 8 nights, it was such a blessing to have found Connie's lovely home!!

Everything was wonderful except the Beach was soo over populated. Just To many people using one area. Unless you’re up for a very Long walk past all the crowds.

We came for spring break and had a wonderful time! The neighborhood was very quiet and the house itself was perfect for our group, we also really appreciated all of the beach gear as that was where we spent most of our time. Also, we had bad weather and the host was able to extend our stay for us at a reduced price! We were so grateful for her flexibility and generosity, definitely recommend staying here whether with kids or for a girls trip!

The cottage was a great location for a great price. We really enjoyed our time visiting the FWB area. Steve & Tara were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. I would recommend their airbnb!
