We had a wonderful stay on Bere Island! Our host Zoe was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start. The house was perfect — spacious, comfortable, and very well-equipped, which made our stay easy and enjoyable. Our two dogs loved it too, and it’s always great to find a place where they are so welcome. The island itself is a gem, with beautiful walks and trails to explore - the lighthouse in particular was breathtaking. We met so many lovely people along the way, and the peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed for a relaxing break. If you’re looking to unwind, enjoy nature, and take in some fresh air, this is the place to be. We’d love to stay again and would highly recommend it to others!

Julie’s space was lovely, cozy comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed for our stay including hair dryer , towels etc .the place is looking just like in the pictures and is in a very peaceful and quiet setting. We would recommend it highly. There are horse stables nearby which offer treks . Host Julie was lovely and helpful. If you need a base from which to explore Beara this is a great place to stay at.

Beautiful little apartment. Shiny and clean with just the right set up for two people or a family with children. The kitchen is very well equipped and the hosts left us Irish soda bread with jam and butter - so wonderful!! Bedrooms face the street so they can be a bit noisy if the window is open but once we closed it, it was fine.

This home is so special. It’s actually potentially ruined us for any future stays through Airbnb because it set the bar so high! What an extraordinary space. Martha and Karen couldn’t have been any more helpful, communicative and thoughtful. The views from all front windows are absolutely stunning! We had beautiful, sunny, evenings and several afternoons where we just watched the ocean for hours. We lucked out with live, Irish music at Causkey’s where the locals took us under their wing and it added even more to our already wonderful experience. This was our first time in Ireland and Martha’s home capped off our time there. The place is so spacious, warm, clean and like no other home we’ve stayed in. We can’t say enough about our time spent here. We were sad to go but so pleased to be able to create memories there.
