Delightful Studio House-superb location!

Our studio has been a complete labour of love and now we're finally ready to share this beautiful little spot. You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. The cottage was full of charm—cozy, well-equipped, and just the right size for the two of us. We loved our evenings sitting out in the hot tub. Lydia left a thoughtful little welcome treat for us on arrival which was a lovely touch. Honestly, it was exactly what we needed, restful, romantic, and really special. My stay at the shepherd's hut was nothing but peaceful, tranquil and a much needed break away. It is located in a small quaint village but is very close to local shops and amenities. The views from the window were stunning and I spent lots of time watching the lambs in the field! There are hundreds of walks nearby and some maps for these walks are printed out to be used during your stay located by the notice board. I have never stayed in a place that has been so well thought out. There's firewood and lights for the fire, as well as lanterns and a fire pit and BBQ. Additionally there's pots, pans and a small portable hob to cook on. I had everything I needed to cook food in the shepherd's hut. The hut was clean and the bathrooms are pristine with a spacious and hot shower. Whilst there were other people staying at the campsite, it felt very private and I was not disturbed once. The hut was amazing and Lois was very helpful and informative. Worth every penny. I can't wait to come back!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in April and it was the perfect weekend getaway. The hut is so cute and has everything you could need. It was warm, clean and so cozy. The views are spectacular and we had some adorable tiny lambs in the field opposite us. Great outdoor space, we loved sitting outside round the fire pit and enjoying the views with a drink. The place is perfectly located for great walks. We recommend the dragons back trail. The host was fantastic, very responsive, answered all my questions and let us check in early. I would thoroughly recommend the whole experience!

Zeta's place was so peaceful, with beautiful surroundings. We really relaxed and the break did us good, after a difficult time. We loved the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Zeta was friendly and very helpful. A lovely place. We will return again in the warmer weather.

Loved our stay at Higger Tor, just what my soul needed ! The location is just beautiful, really peaceful, countryside views all around. Had a lovely evening walk from the location found lovely footpaths. The walk to Hathersage is lovely too. Appreciated the welcoming and things in the fridge etc. Felt like everything we needed was in the hut, thoughtfully prepared. Sue gave us good suggestions of things to do in the local area and made us feel welcome guests. Adored the lambs at this time of year. Also the horses and dogs were beautiful! Thank you so much for the stay ! Would so happily return. What a lovely farm, so special to experience.

Perfect stay at the cabin! really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and getting back to nature! Cabin was easy to find and spotless when we checked in. Log burner kept the place lovely and warm at night and the wood fired hot tub was fantastic! it took around 3 hours to heat up and stayed warm until the next day. Really nice quiet location with a few pubs within walking distance. Would absolutely recommend and will certainly be staying again!
