Jack's Cottage, Curbar

StephRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay at jacks cottage! It was exactly how it looked in the pictures, the perfect place for a relaxing weekend. The hot tub was a great addition ( already set up & easy to use) & we enjoyed being able to walk from the cottage to the stunning curbar edge! Great location, and beautiful interior as well. We would definitely recommend to any of our friends looking to stay in the area!

Thirkelow Cottage - near Buxton, Peak District

KarenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We’ve just returned after an amazing weekend at Thirkelow cottage. There were 8 of us celebrating a birthday. The property is amazing, lots of space and in a fantastic location. The kitchen is very well equipped, with lots of little extras. The main room was a fantastic social space! We asked lots of questions before we arrived and Esther always responded within an hour. Definitely would revisit, highly recommended 😀

I had a wonderful stay at the cottage with the amazing hot tub that was exactly what I needed after a long days walk. The fenced-in garden and the spare lead was a lovely touch for the dog and the welcome basket was lovely too. Kitchen was well stocked so I could cook easily and the underfloor heating was luxurious ❤️ Thank you for a smashing stay!

Lime Tree Cottage new barn convention

LucyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This cottage was amazing! I booked it for a weekend getaway to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and it had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook our own meals, and the bed was really comfortable. The hot tub was amazing—completely private and enclosed, even though the cottage is on a working farm. It was the perfect spot for a peaceful and refreshing weekend. I’d definitely recommend it!

Cosy and Stylish Holiday Cottage in Crich

CarolRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely cottage in a great location for walking and exploring the Dales. The bed was really comfy, the kitchen had all you needed and the bathroom was cleverly and tastefully done. We ate at both the Black Swan pub and the Jeera Lounge (Indian restaurant) and the food was spot on. Service in the Jeera was great too, worth noting that it’s BYOB but there’s a shop next door! Lots of great walks within the vicinity. Clear comms from Joanne throughout too and very clear instructions in the cottage.

Chatsworth Cottage, Little Longstone

RoseyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

Special place for couples or small family.

KateRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Black Cat Cottage in lovely Wildboarclough

AnnemiekeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an unforgettable week at the Black Cat Cottage. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and made a couple of great walks starting right from the doorstep. We had lots of snow, some really nice sunny days and the grand final: storm Bert. Under all circumstances, the cottage was a warm and welcoming place to come home to. The cottage is close to the farm, but is still very private. Chris was very friendly, helpful and relaxed, also under all circumstances. Hera and Hector were very, very sweet, and we loved Hera’s antics in the snow. In short: we highly recommend this lovely place if you want to get away from it all! Some friendly (November) tips: Bring enough food, just in case of snow and road closures Dry and clean firewood is available at a nearby gas station in the direction of Buxton. And yes, you really do need a 4x4 to get to or from the cottage in snowy and icy conditions 😉

West Croft, the Relaxing, Quiet, Homely Cottage.

LouiseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our party of 3 couples really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, comfortable cottage. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped and the lounge very cosy, with enough comfy seating for us all. Youlgreave is a beautiful village with many options for walks directly from the house. Communication with Simon and Jen was excellent and we would definitely recommend their cottage as a great base from which to explore this beautiful area.

Hidden Cottage for Two in Staffordshire

EdithRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Amazing cozy place, only stopped overnight but could happily have spent longer, everything was spotless, Nice homely touches and plenty of space to relax with comfy sofa and chair, kitchen very well equipped, spacious bathroom excellent shower in large cubicle. Very comfortable bed in large bedroom. Garden area looked lovely though weather wasn’t great so didn’t go out. The cottage was tucked away off the high street but was very private and a bit of a wow factor when we opened the gate!

Delightful old stone cottage

MelanieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Headlands Fold is a lovely cosy old cottage in a beautiful village. Rod the owner was helpful and welcoming. The cottage has everything you would need, it is very comfortable with some low doorways to watch out for, if you are tall. The beds were comfy. There was a welcome bottle of wine, milk and biscuits. It is a quiet spot with walks straight from the door. There are two great pubs with open fires serving food in the village and a community owned shop. There were three of us and it was a good size for us. Any more and it would be tricky to deal with wet coats and boots. My husband and I would definitely stay again.

Perfect location for our visit to two of Nottingham university's campuses this weekend. And such a quirky, lovely house to stay in. Didn't get the chance to make the most of the garden but we really enjoyed the fire on the second night. Thanks to Seán and Lesley for their hospitality and personal touches!
