Lake house vacation rentals in Delavan Lake

This is a great place on a small, peaceful lake. From the deck or dock, you can see both the sunrise and sunset. In warmer weather, the beach and dock would be a great place to hang out all day.

First of all: the selection for silverware was my favorite part of the stay. There were spoon sizes for every type of meal and it was so fun to use the itty bitty spoons for stuff like ice cream. The location was great and we had everything we could have wanted. The deck was well taken care of, and we loved the giant windows that let us see everything outside all the time. It truly felt like a perfect vacation home for our group, to either stay in and play dnd and board games, or go rest on the hammock, or eat dinner on the back porch while staring at the fire pit! The canoe was so much fun and it was so cool to see that we had a fishing rod available to us! (One of our group brought his own fishing rod already so it was really funny.). The kitchen is well-equipped and we never felt like we were running out of dishes (unless we forgot to run the dishwasher!). I would recommend this place to everyone—as long as it’s not a week in planning to be back in it!

We had a memorable family vacation in this beautiful lake home. The communication, prior to our stay, informing us of an unexpected plumbing issue was prompt, apologetic and courteous. Fortunately, the owner generously allowed the use of another remodeled 2 bedroom 1 bath house directly adjacent to this property. The house has a wide cement deck on the lake allowing plenty of space for 4 kids to cast and reel in many fish. The outdoor shower and boathouse was convenient for quick clean ups after fishing and before using the hot tub - which was a fan favorite. There was plenty of outdoor seating for eating outdoors and toasting marshmallows around the fire pit. We were fortunate to have a pontoon boat at our disposal which allowed us to travel out to the sand bar a few hundred yards away. Swimming directly in front of the house was too rocky and weedy for our taste so having the boat really made our stay more enjoyable.

This is such a quaint little house that fit my family’s needs perfectly! Loved all the spaces and the view of the lake was so peaceful. Excellent location to the RTC where my twin boys graduated. They loved coming back and just relaxing after bootcamp. Plenty of space to just hang out together. It was wonderful!

Tons of fun. Loved the vibe of the space. Loved the restaurant and bar nearby. Loved the lake. Backyard also fantastic.

The house was ideal for our visit. Peaceful area, plenty big enough for two with a small dog, and was very clean throughout. Eldar was helpful before and during our stay. Monica has a beautiful home. Lots of space for our small group to spread out and enjoy the home and lake. Monica has thought of everything we could think of. From plenty of beach towels, to many kitchen essentials. We loved the boathouse and lawn, easy to watch the kids swim, play a few yard game’s and enjoy the sunset. We would absolutely visit again.

The Glass Cabin is more than just a place to stay - it's a place to experience. Crossing the threshold felt like stepping into a bright, welcoming house museum where every detail was considered to create an atmosphere that is both inspiring and relaxing. I yearned to learn the story of each one while sitting comfortably on the soft swivel chair, enjoying a cup of tea, and gazing out of the floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the pond and provide serene views. You will not regret it.

Tyler and Lexi's cabin on the lake was absolutely stunning. My boyfriend from Australia and I stayed there for a little under a week and our favorite spot to cozy up from the cold winter weather was in the living room with the gorgeous fireplace, huge TV and stunning view of Lake Beulah. The kitchen was spacious and provided all the essential cookware and utensils. The cabin has a lot of cute little features that make it unique, and the decor was also super cute. Lexi and Tyler were VERY responsive, flexible and kind hosts, and it was truly a pleasure to speak with them. They even came out to the cabin one morning and shoveled/salted the stairs outside after a snowfall. Thank you for everything, Lexi and Tyler, we had the best little winter getaway and we will for sure be back someday! :)

Amazing stay! It was beyond gorgeous- some of us didn’t like the flavor of the water- so we grabbed a couple of jugs of water! Perfect stay!

Larry’s place was perfect for us! His home was well laid out and plenty of room for our family. The lake view was wonderful and peaceful. He even had a fire pit ready for us complete with s’more’s. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our son who’s in the Navy close by. Larry was so kind and accommodating, actually the best host I’ve ever experienced with Airbnb. Beds were very comfortable, furniture and space was perfect! We will definitely stay again. Book with confidence in knowing you will be very well taken care of.

Beautiful place to relax and enjoy a peaceful retreat. Host’s recommendation on places to visit and things to do was spot on. House was very welcoming and comfortable. If you are looking for a place to chill but close enough to some spots to have a coffee or a drink, definitely this is the right choice. Communication with host is fast and friendly.

The house was nice right by the beach and the area was great. The water was less swim able then desired but I believe it was due to the time of year.

thank you for sharing your home with my family. we were not far away from the Navy Base, as my nephew graduated bootcamp. He was able to come to a home and not a hotel setting and that was the best part. we got to cook out and have a great time. Will definitely book here again, if ever in Fox Lake/Chicago area.

This was one of the nicest Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in. We did not want to leave! The house was so spacious and the view of the lake was beautiful. Loved the Christmas tree and it was such a lovely, cozy weekend. I will be back!

The House of Seven Gables was a perfect place to host our family reunion/birthday party! Tons of room, and the kids had a blast running around the lake, and playing ping pong, going fishing, etc. A perfect spot, thank you!

This place was cozy and clean and a perfect getaway from the city. It is on a quiet side street but only a short drive from downtown Lake Geneva. Kathy was very proactive and responsive. I would recommend staying here!

the place was perfect for our weekend. everything was exactly as described and the recomendations were spot on. we enjoyed our day out on the lakes as well as a Dinner at Morretti's. We will definitely look forwarded to renting with Jessica again.

This is such a cute house RIGHT on the lake. We didn't get a chance to walk around it as it was in the mid 20's. The town of Antioch is close and so very cute, just don't try & shop on Tuesdays, as everything is closed. Ryan was quick to respond to every text/question we had. The beds were very comfy. Everything appears to be new and well cared for in this home. There is plenty of room for everyone.

Awesome place out on the lake in a quiet neighborhood! Hilary was super responsive and friendly, and the neighbors were friendly as well! One was a caretaker/contact person but we didn’t end up having any problems. They thought of everything and labeled everything well at the house. Had beautiful days and night there and felt like there was even more fun games/toys than advertised! We will try to go back! Thanks Hilary!

Place was great for our family to celebrate our Mothers 70th birthday. Everyone had their space and the main room was lovely for the whole group to be together. Nice to be on the water and close to the downtown. Perfect place for a family getaway.

This was our first experience staying at an Airbnb. We needed accommodations near Great Lakes, IL for our son's Navy boot camp graduation. After reading the many favorable reviews, we decided to book our stay here. This cottage is amazing! The location was perfect because it was a short drive to the Navy Recruit Training Command and many nearby restaurants. The views of the lake were peaceful and beautiful. There was plenty of room for our family and relatives to relax and spend time with our sailor. We spent most of our time talking, eating, and sharing stories around the large kitchen table. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. We reached out to Karen, the host, about adding an additional night and to let her know that additional family would be joining us for graduation. She responded quickly and was very thoughtful. We highly recommend this home for boot camp graduations and any vacation getaways. Thank you, Karen, for a memorable visit!
