This is a gem right on the beach. Beautiful spot. Gave it 5 stars for the location of the condo and the view with beach access. Be aware the surrounding area isn’t the best. We went for a walk and it was a little sketchy. This is a spot to stay at the condo and just enjoy the beach. Verizon service is terrible here. Owner uses Verizon WiFi box so the WiFi wasn’t any better. Definitely a spot to book to leave your phone off and enjoy the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on Mission Bay. The location was just a short walk to the beach across the street. We rented bikes and had fun riding to breakfast, along the bay, and to shops in Pacific Beach. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was very responsive with check-in and check-out instructions.

We had a great time at Denise's place! Condo was stocked with everything we needed and a lot we forgot to bring. Very clean and exactly as described. Walking distance to a great park with pickleball and tennis courts, an off leash dog park and multiple soccer fields. Short walk to a quiet beach. Great views...the best location in the development with both bay and ocean views.!

This is a beautiful place! Enrique was extremely responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The space was fantastic- right on the water, and since it’s the bay side, the water is really peaceful. The patio out front was perfect for eating food from nearby restaurants or winding down at the end of the day. Apartment itself is really accurately described- extremely comfortable, clean, and welcoming. We also traveled with two kids under 6 and the space was great for them too. Would absolutely love to come back. Thanks Enrique!!

Where to begin? The Pelican is a very special place, nestled in the perfect location to take in the ocean - whether from the expansive windows and open floor plan space, the multiple furnished patios, or directly above or on the beach across the street! The space is pristine, well appointed, and free of clutter. We had some rain during our stay and we barely noticed it due to enjoying being inside the well styled and comfortable home. You can walk right into Carlsbad village for eats and drinks or some quirky shops, and are a quick drive from all the charming places Carlsbad & Oceanside have to offer. The hosts were incredible to work with, especially the property manager, Nancy, who took amazing care of our family - from proactively managing potential issues with some neighboring construction, to answering all our questions promptly. She was the most professional and empathetic host we’ve encountered in our various adventures with AirBnB!
