Monthly Rentals in Dehwathu

This January (2025), I had the pleasure of staying at Ladakh House for three weeks, and it was an unforgettable experience. Despite the freezing temperatures outside, the room was incredibly cozy. Thanks to a traditional “hammam” heating system, which kept us comfortable with just a light wool sweater. The internet (60 Mbps) was perfect for my remote work. The attached kitchen had everything we needed. Mujtaba, our host, was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home, checking in daily and sharing tips about Kashmir, local food, and places to visit. He even stocked up on breakfast supplies so much, in fact, we had to ask him to stop bringing more! Mehraj, our driver, was also wonderful. He not only took us to all the major sites but also showed us hidden gems. Their kindness and hospitality truly made our trip to Kashmir special and memorable.

First of all Muzaffar is a respectful and extremely polite host…always available if one needs anything…his property is located around 1km from the main market and is on the edge of this peaceful village and is just beside a scenic river stream where you can spend quality time, also the food at his property was homely and delicious…he also guided us to do a small trek through the village to visit these wooden bridges that Pahalgam is famous for… I would suggest it to anyone who is curious about all of the above things… also love to Faiza ( Muzzafar’s cute toddler niece )..Thanks for hosting us ❤️

Bashir sir and family were the warmest of hosts that we had met so far. We spent 4 nights at the property on our dream holiday to Kashmir, which turned out to be most memorable and adventurous one. Right from the booking, Bashir sir was in touch to help plan our itinerary and helped us book a trustworthy cab. Bashir Sir's wife is an amazing cook. We were welcomed with warm Khawa(Kashmiri Tea made with Saffron)which so far is best Khawa that we have tasted during our trip followed by great sumptuous dinner. The crockery with which they served the dinner belong to the Mughal era. We are all our breakfasts and dinners at the property. The property is away from the hustle bustle of the city overlooking Sangreshi mountains. Rooms are pristinely clean with electrically heated bed, warm blankets and fully carpeted floor. Toilet was super clean with all the essentials. We will certainly come back for sure! Look no further for your Srinagar stay. Thank you once again for having us🙏

This is a great place to stay in Srinagar. Located just 200 meters from the main road, it’s easily accessible and surrounded by beautiful, safe surroundings. Though the road is narrow, taxis can reach the property, and a good driver will drop you right at the doorstep. The property is in a posh area and is well-maintained. The host is exceptional—always available, even at midnight, to assist with anything. They offer excellent recommendations on where to eat, what to visit, and guide you on fair prices for autos, cabs, and shikara rides, helping you avoid scams. Highly recommended for a hassle-free stay!
