We had a wonderful stay at Nanda Devi Himalayan Homestay! Dhyan Singh ji (The Host), made us feel like part of the family. He was incredibly hospitable and prepared delicious, homely food for dinner and breakfast. The view of the mountain peaks was absolutely breathtaking. The place was very clean, and the rooms were comfortable with heaters making it cozy inspite of the chilling weather outside. The driving directions to the homestay were clear, making it easy to find the location. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Ranikhet – it’s the perfect blend of natural beauty, great hospitality, and comfort!

Nestled within a secluded oak forest in the mountains, this charming home stay offers an unparalleled retreat for those seeking peace and connection with nature. From the moment we arrived, the warm and friendly Mrs and Mr. Prasad (hosts) made us feel right at home, greeting with genuine smiles and an eagerness to share their stories. Each story is a window into the vibrant life of the mountains, making your visit much more than just a getaway. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients are crafted into delicious meals that reflect the region’s culinary traditions.

We had a wonderful stay at the La Vie cottage hosted by Sarika ji. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning decor and aesthetics that beautifully blended modern comfort with charming rustic touches. Every room was thoughtfully designed, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.The amenities were top-notch, ensuring a truly enjoyable stay. The highlight was the breathtaking location. Waking up to a view of the snow-covered mountains was simply magical, and we spent countless hours just soaking it all in. The garden was another delightful surprise however it needed maintainance. Sarika ji is an extremely proactive and responsive host.The cherry on top was the delicious food cooked by the caretaker Trilok ji who also catered to all our needs. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and serene stay. Can’t wait to come back in the summer 🙂

Pooja’s place was perfect for us. My husband and I visited Ranikhet with our dog (Bailey), and more than us, Bailey was happy as he got a backyard to walk around and play. Pooja made sure Bailey was as comfortable as us during the stay. The apartment also has a bed and food & water bowl for the pets. This was a spiritual trip for us and the apartment was centrally located so we could easily visit all the temples we wished to. The market - Sadar Bazaar is also very near to the apartment. We highly recommend staying at Pooja’s place, specially if you have a pet with you.
