Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Decorah

Family weekend in Decorah. Great bird watching, fun to watch the deer come up near the house and the best was the waterfall. In addition to enjoying the outside the house was great. You instantly feel at home. Very spacious and had everything you need when out of town. Close drive into town. The owners communicated and checked in on us. Quick response to any question. Really enjoyed our time here and hope to be back another time. Thank you!

Great stay Plenty of room

This was a great spot for my family and mom. She doesn't navigate stairs easily so the main floor bed and bath were a selling point. Everyone felt comfortable and it is definitely cozy! The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked and we loved the Bunn coffee maker! The location is perfect for walking around Decorah and getting to Luther for our events. The only downside for me was the shower is fairly small--just commenting that here for anyone who might require a little more space. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and I would recommend it to anyone.

This house exceeded our expectations in every way. This was a beautiful property. They thought of everything a person could forget. We arrived sooner than expected and we were willing to wait outside but Kathy was more than happy let us in early. The space was so relaxing and so much fun.

Jerry's place was great! Very clean and ordered. Check in and out was easy and seamless. Very peaceful and quiet too. perfect distance from town. Far enough away to feel secluded, but also a quick easy drive into town. would stay there again.

We appreciate the little extras she has available. Also plenty of blankets and pillows. Everything is clearly marked.

Fantastic spot for a couple or family. Great place to be pretty isolated but short drive to multiple towns and attractions. Spent hours in the garage playing shuffle board and pool. Days were spent on the 4 seasons porch reading which had nice views of the valley. Will be a place we come back to often.

Impressive restoration of the log cabin. The cabin was furnished very well with towels, extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one could wish for, and even extras, like basic baking and cooking supplies. Even a tabletop popcorn popper! 🍿 🍿. Very peaceful surroundings in the woods.

Jennifer's place is so welcoming, comfortable and clean for the two of us and our dog, Loui. We love staying here, it's so easy to find lovely parks and trails in the area, plus TJ's Pizza is a must do in Clermont. Jennifer is excellent at communications and shares special events happening - she's a fantastic host!

We needed to book a place at the last minute because the other airbnb owner where our family had book changed their policy the week of our trip from pet-friendly to NO PETS. We have a puppy and had to either cancel the trip or find another location. Laurie's place is dog-friendly and adorable! It was a lovely place to stay during our annual family trout fishing trip to NE Iowa in the area northeast of Decorah. Laurie and her husband were delightful and friendly. We will definitely come back!

My host had great communication with me. The space was very clean and nice. Looked exactly like what i was paying for online. There was a little mix up on the rooms but my host was quick to get it resolved!

Great place to stay! Loved the koi pond and deck with hot tub just outside the apartment. Great night’s sleep in the very comfy bed. We hope to stay here again!

Decorah High Point Magnolia Cabin was perfect quiet get away for our anniversary! Beautiful cabin, wonderful views and wildlife. Very relaxing!

We spent two nights here at the end of December. The cabin was clean, warm, peaceful. Great amenities, including the hot tube which is outdoors but in a screened in porch with direct access to the lower level (and great views!). A great getaway, we hope to be back!

It was a very relaxing and cozy retreat, the place had a very homey and comfortable vibe. Every amenity that would be needed it had. Read a few books and enjoyed Decorah. It felt very private. Thanks for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay. We were greeted with a fresh baked loaf of banana bread and a lovely welcome card. Traci was very responsive to my questions and reached out ahead of time to provide more information about getting to the location. If not for that, it would have been more difficult to find. Lovely place to stay, even if just for a weekend. Super cozy, loved the hot tub with the view!! Also others said that the place was too small but for two people it was a great size!! Would love to come back in the summer so see the Mississippi.

We had such a great time here! The cabin was beautiful and the setting is so quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed many hours in the hot tub and had fun exploring the little town of De Soto. Porks bar was our personal favorite!! We are hoping to come back and make this an annual couples trip. Thanks for the best birthday getaway!
