Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Decorah

This place was amazing. my husband and I just needed a little get away weekend to unplug and relax and this place was perfect. maybe a little big for just the 2 of us, but amazing all the same.

Great stay Plenty of room

This was a great spot for my family and mom. She doesn't navigate stairs easily so the main floor bed and bath were a selling point. Everyone felt comfortable and it is definitely cozy! The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked and we loved the Bunn coffee maker! The location is perfect for walking around Decorah and getting to Luther for our events. The only downside for me was the shower is fairly small--just commenting that here for anyone who might require a little more space. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and I would recommend it to anyone.

This house exceeded our expectations in every way. This was a beautiful property. They thought of everything a person could forget. We arrived sooner than expected and we were willing to wait outside but Kathy was more than happy let us in early. The space was so relaxing and so much fun.

Jerry's place was great! Very clean and ordered. Check in and out was easy and seamless. Very peaceful and quiet too. perfect distance from town. Far enough away to feel secluded, but also a quick easy drive into town. would stay there again.

We appreciate the little extras she has available. Also plenty of blankets and pillows. Everything is clearly marked.

Fantastic spot for a couple or family. Great place to be pretty isolated but short drive to multiple towns and attractions. Spent hours in the garage playing shuffle board and pool. Days were spent on the 4 seasons porch reading which had nice views of the valley. Will be a place we come back to often.

Impressive restoration of the log cabin. The cabin was furnished very well with towels, extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one could wish for, and even extras, like basic baking and cooking supplies. Even a tabletop popcorn popper! 🍿 🍿. Very peaceful surroundings in the woods.

We needed to book a place at the last minute because the other airbnb owner where our family had book changed their policy the week of our trip from pet-friendly to NO PETS. We have a puppy and had to either cancel the trip or find another location. Laurie's place is dog-friendly and adorable! It was a lovely place to stay during our annual family trout fishing trip to NE Iowa in the area northeast of Decorah. Laurie and her husband were delightful and friendly. We will definitely come back!

Norma Jean & Daryl are welcoming, kind hosts with an absolutely beautiful property! They were attentive to our safety as there was winter weather and helpful at every turn. My friend & I were celebrating a milestone birthday and had a perfect stay at their place.

Great place to stay! Loved the koi pond and deck with hot tub just outside the apartment. Great night’s sleep in the very comfy bed. We hope to stay here again!

Thanks Evan and Kristen! We had a great stay during the Driftless yoga festival. Perfect location by the trail and walking distance to Will Baker Park. We loved having coffee in the back yard with the view of all the trees. Mama deer and fawn spotted on the lane coming back from dinner one night! Overall great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in Evan and Kristen's Airbnb. They made it easy and convenient to check in and out. I was very impressed with how well-maintained the space is. It was very clean organized, and cozy, and the kitchen was well-stocked with good quality cooking utensils. It is in a beautiful location that is private and quiet, but it is an easy walk to town. I would definitely stay here again!

The home was absolutely perfect and so so clean! They have anything you need here and more. The welcome goodies were so cool to walk into. The kitchen is fully stocked with all kitchen utensils and materials + oils and spices + coffee and tea stuff - the bathroom was stocked with all soaps, towels, robes and more. The view was beautiful to look at (even though we had a gloomy cloudy day , still was perfect), and even caught a good few eagles flying by. Our dog loved running around the trails and in the backyard freely, it was perfect and such a nice change from the cities ! Hosts were incredibly responsive and respectful. They answered any questions I had promptly before and during our stay. As a former Airbnb host, I am really blown away by their home, set-up, and management. Couldn’t recommend this place more as a perfect, quiet weekend getaway with a partner or friends, or even a solo trip with your dog 🐶🤷🏼‍♀️

It was a very relaxing and cozy retreat, the place had a very homey and comfortable vibe. Every amenity that would be needed it had. Read a few books and enjoyed Decorah. It felt very private. Thanks for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay. We were greeted with a fresh baked loaf of banana bread and a lovely welcome card. Traci was very responsive to my questions and reached out ahead of time to provide more information about getting to the location. If not for that, it would have been more difficult to find. Thanks for the great weekend!

This place was super cozy with thoughtful touches! We really enjoyed the fireplace & cute loft area where we slept. The hot tub was a bonus and the best part was watching the sunset relaxing in it! There is a train right there but didn’t bother us any and the hosts left ear plugs & eye sleeping masks which was a nice. Lacrosse is 30 minus north which is a cute place to visit & if you drive down south on the Great river road it’s really really pretty! Actually if you drive north or south on the road it’s all beautiful!!! After having been out that way several times it’s definitely my favorite Midwest area! I’d highly recommend & will most definitely be coming back!

The cabin is fairly large and has comfortable furniture. Very clean inside. No complaints but if you’re arriving after dark, you may want to request that he leave some lights on outside so you can figure out where the cabin is at and how to get inside.
