Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Dauphin County

Spend a couple of nights here in Jan '25 to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. We were joined by her family. Everyone LOVED the house. Quite an amazing place. You can hear a train pass through every so often, but it wasn't loud. It was rather peaceful actually. Everyone in my party raved about the beds. They were very comfortable and we all slept well. I look forward to staying there again.

Iconic and unforgettable, this thematic stay was a well-located luxury. The hot tub was a delight, the kitchen had all the tools we needed, and it was walking distance from the farm show complex, an excellent coffee shop, and other notable shops in Harrisburg.

Entering was easy! They make the passcode easy and you won’t forget! It’s such a cute place decorated festive! We were approved to bring out pets, there is no fenced in yard*** we brought long leashes for our pups. Something to keep in mind with pups is mine didn’t go up the steps. It’s a spiral stair case and too tricky for my boys being bigger dogs. I believe the hot tub was on the wrong mood for us saying “SLP” and it was 80° which felt cold. Luckily hot tub wasn’t make or break for us and the bluetooth speaker was easy to connect too. There isn’t much cleaning supplies if you spill something etc and the bedrooms do not have Tvs in them. It’s a small little place, good for me and my boyfriend to have a peaceful get away! The couches are tiny, not much room for snuggles with a movie haha. But overall looking at the photos and noticing what I would be getting, 10/10! Also the hosts are sweet!! Left dog treats for the puppies and a little cup with mints. so cute! <3

We had the most wonderful stay! The owners have done an amazing job with updating the home, while preserving its history. The layout provides such a great set-up: we could enjoy quiet mornings with our coffee by the fireplace, and then have ample space for family gatherings in the evenings. The bedrooms and their respective bathrooms were all nicely sized and well-appointed. The outdoor hot tub is beautiful and private, and Chad and Anne proactively ensured it was maintained throughout our stay. The large fenced in backyard was really important for us as it gave our dogs space to run and explore. The owners had the home decorated for the holidays, which truly made it feel so warm and welcoming, and gave it that added sense of being “at home.” We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Honestly didn't want to leave! centrally located to Hershey but also can explore other areas, hardly noticed any noise. found it easily, very clear directions on locating and entering. the space was lovely. It was perfect for my solo get away. tastefully done and so many details though of(kitchen, home and personal essentials ) really wanted for nothing but a private chef! Loved the coffee and especially tea set up! Hot tub was another favorite. bed was very comfortable -it kept me for most of a morning and I also loved the chase lounge! if you have problems with stairs, I would be aware the steps are somewhat steep and narrower but well lit and has a handrail. will definitely keep this place in mind if I'm back in the area again.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Eldon's place! From the moment we arrived, the communication was clear and prompt. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend it. Eldon went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Swallow’s home was lovely and felt cozy, warm, and allows dog companions which was a huge bonus while traveling with our fur baby. The home was clean, had a lovely vibe and was very aesthetically pleasing. The hot tub was really nice but we didn’t use it as much as we liked because of the snow and weather. As long as it is not snowing or raining it’s definitely worth using and a nice touch! Kitchen is clean and stocked with seasonings and pans. I recommend brining a larger pan or cast iron if you plan on cooking for more than 3 people. The area has some cool gems including thrift store, a really awesome book store / cafe, a vintage store that feels like Williamsburg NYC. Ellie was very kind, communicative and you can see she put so more love into this home for any guests who stay here. I have no complaints and highly recommend booking swallow house!

My friends and I truly loved our stay at Jennifers home. The house had everything we needed, and when we thought she didnt have an item, it would magically appear in a cabinet; we joked and said it was like a magicians house. The house was also spacious considering there were 6 of us girls staying there. Aside from that, Jennifer was super nice & very responsive. Her house was everything that was listed/described AND more!!

We had a fantastic, relaxing and fun family vacation at this home. Everything was perfect, beautiful aesthetics throughout the home. Generous amenities and most of all Tyler was super attentive, responsive, helpful and generous! Beds were super comfortable and the home was cozy and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna as well! We will definitely stay again if we visit Lancaster again! Perfect home for family or couple getaways!
