Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Dambulla

Some friends and I spent my birthday at Malki’s listing. It was so lovely and exceeded my expectations. The place its self was breathtakingly beautiful, the caretaker and host were incredibly helpful and ensured that we enjoyed our time there. Would love to go back!

Subadra was a perfect host,we booked a homestay and got a home instead. The place was ozzing with love and kindness. She went beyond her way to address our concerns and gave a personal touch to everything she offered. the place is absolutely amazing, the rooms spacious, well maintained, but the best is the staff. Mohan, great host, accommodating and fast. Adjib' scooking amazing . Kumar an asset, very very good. attemptive, reliable and always in good spirit. I would like to come back for sure.

Banda’s place is amazing and he is very welcoming. Our initial cabine wasn’t available due to the rain and he quickly gave us another one more suited for the weather, and it was very nice as well! The Sri Lankan breakfast and diners were very good! The place is very well located to explore Sigiriya and very quiet. Banda arranged early transportation to the Lion rock and to Kandy when we checked out. I highly recommend!

We were gutted that we had only booked one night here! Definitely one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka - an absolute hidden gem! We were completely wowed as soon as we arrived, such gorgeous surroundings and each pod was so clean and comfortable with amazing spacious bathrooms! The staff were helpful and attentive and we were able to easily organise transport to the safari and Lion Rock. The breakfasts were tasty and you get a lot for your money!

Asela’s treehouse is a wonderful place. It has been built with lots of attention to detail and is very well maintained & comfortable. The area where it is located is quiet, with lots of nature and wildlife around, but at the same time it is close to some shops, restaurants and lots of things to do. Asela and his uncle are lovely people. We have the enjoyed breakfast and dinner which they offered to us. They are the most friendly and helpful people and took such good care of us. Asela helped to arrange transportation from the airport in a car as well as toured with us to many places in the area with his own Tuk Tuk.

Madawa’s place it’s a hidden gem of Sigiriya. If you going to book for one night stay only, you will become frustrated and regret that you have not book for longer asking Madu for extra day(s). So if you want to save yourself a dispair I recommend staying here for min of 3 nights or longer, especially if you have a jungle heart. You will be breathing together with the nature around, where everything is blurping, squeaking and singing 24hr around the clock. You will fall asleep & wake up with peacocks and calming frog sounds. The place provides stunning experience both at night, where the area changes to a fairytale like space decorated with colourful lights reflecting in the wetlands around, where light bugs flying leading a way through the dark, and daytime - you can chill in a hammock, practice yoga or any other moves in a designated meditative space hosted by a Ganesha God, followed by refreshing swim in the lake 15 mins walking distance away. Great traditional kitchen & hosts!❤️
