It is an amazing place to stay. Spacy, well equipped, located in a peaceful area. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms well separated, the American-style living room/kitchen is large and homely. Myrra. the family cat with whom we gladly shared the flat is a very friendly cat who has never bothered us. My sons liked to caress her. We can strongly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a well-located, spacious, cozy place to stay.

An amazing apartment with literally everything you could possible want. The kitchen has a fabulous coffee machine (plus beans) and all the apparatus/spices you could possibly need if you decide to cook. The parking space is right in front of the apartment and the beds are the most comfortable ever - I even looked up the mattress' brand name so that I can investigate upgrading ours at home! Excellent utility room for drying clothes too. All very spacious, clean and well-maintained. A really super find.

Homey, comfortable, & very spacious apartment in a quiet neighborhood with easy parking. Conveniently located near shopping center with grocery store and only a 5 min drive to downtown Akureyri. Would definitely stay again!

We loved this house! It's in a very nice neighborhood about a 5 minute walk from restaurants, shops, the city pool (!), the big church, etc. Even the Netto grocery story is walking distance. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We made it our home base for a few days and took day trips to sights and activities in the area. We couldn't have asked for more.

Perfect location with lots to walk to. The views everywhere were beautiful. Host was very responsive and laid out instructions to find the place easily. Love the cat that gave us a visit. 😊

This place was fabulous and only about 5 minutes to town. The heated floors, water pressure in the showers and temperature, the hot tub and the views.... etc, make this place a must stop. The robes were a nice added touch along with the wine and beer if needed. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the best place we stayed on our entire trip to Iceland! Beautiful view of Hofsós, comfortable, cozy, adorable spot and Þóra is the most accommodating host. We locked ourselves out in the first hour because we were very tired and dumb and Þóra had us back in within 2 minutes. She had great recommendations on what to do in Hofsos which is a beautiful town. Next time I’m in Iceland I would probably stay here the entire trip. THANK YOU, Þóra

The place is amazing! Can't describe with any words about the view... the owners were kind and ready for every question. The windows can be fixed because of the cold comming inside from the little oppenings but for the rest everything is more then fine..

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. Everything was nearby and the town was really cute. Definetly Wörth a visit when staying in the north of iceland.

Very good apartment and my small dog alowed what is very rare here in Iceland. We enjoyed our time there and we can recomend it and we will stay there again

The apartment was perfect for our short stay. In the centre of town with only a short walk to the main attractions and restaurants. Petur was also an extremely pleasant host who responded to our questions and requests very promptly. I would highly recommend people visiting Akureyri considered staying at Petur’s

If I could give more stars for location, I would. Definitely go the the public pool a short walk away. The people are so friendly and there are 2 awesome water slides (one is referred to by local kids as the toilet bowl, you'll see why in a fun way). This is a bottom floor apartment which seems very new. The apartment was quiet and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The bed was comfy. The Northern lights were amazing. Probably the best place we stayed in Iceland and a good value.

Nicely decorated apartment, spacious kitchen, free street parking right by the door, responsive host, good linen. Note that the washing machine and dryer are in a shared room with the apartment downstairs.

We felt right at home, both because the house was very warm and welcoming and because our hosts were amazing. The were super friendly from the start and even gave us an heads up to go out and look at the northern lights as they were happening. The island is very cute and fairly easy to access via ferry and was a great place to watch the northern lights considering the low light pollution.

A very cozy and lovely place to stay in, feels like home - well equipped kitchen and bathroom, and the living space was very comfortable. Great location too, close to shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights here!
