Wonderful and beautiful house, warm and cozy, well decorated and with lots of character. We were 8 adults staying and plenty of room for everyone. A little quiet between apartments but that's just understandable in such an old house and was nothing to bother us. Gudmundur answered all questions quickly and reliably. Definitely recommend this house and will definitely be back.

We loved this house! It's in a very nice neighborhood about a 5 minute walk from restaurants, shops, the city pool (!), the big church, etc. Even the Netto grocery story is walking distance. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We made it our home base for a few days and took day trips to sights and activities in the area. We couldn't have asked for more.

The apartment is as described. Its bright and spacious and the kitchen is well stocked (and with lovely crockery). Its a 15 min walk to the centre of Aukreyri and there are shops and restaurants just a few mins walk away. The apartment itself is in a small industrial estate and there is a bottle bank opposite but it wasn't noisy in mornings or evenings. Its a short walk to the town. We didn't have a car but looked like plenty of parking. The host was great - answered any queries quickly. The bedroom is off the living room and has sliding doors. There are no window when the door is closed but with doors open it has the light from the bright living room. Fab bathroom. I'd stay here again.

We are family of 4. The house is very clean with amazing views. We have everything we need here. Bathroom is clean and warm. We cooked quite often and the kitchen utensils are of high quality. This is one of the top3 Air B&B we have ever stayed for the last 10years we travel around. Thank you Agusta for sharing this house .

Petra’s place was perfect for our family of 7. The location was great and the view was very nice. It was especially nice having laundry and an extra .5 bath. The space was cozy with everything we needed. We would definitely stay at Petra’s place again!

Beautifull hose across from the most beautiful pool in Iceland. Can't be a better location. Amazing view, northern lights and the best pool. House is spacious clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night but could easily stay more. Highly recommended

This was the best place we stayed on our entire trip to Iceland! Beautiful view of Hofsós, comfortable, cozy, adorable spot and Þóra is the most accommodating host. We locked ourselves out in the first hour because we were very tired and dumb and Þóra had us back in within 2 minutes. She had great recommendations on what to do in Hofsos which is a beautiful town. Next time I’m in Iceland I would probably stay here the entire trip. THANK YOU, Þóra

Very nice house in a peaceful area, illuminated in the evening The kitchen was fine and the bedrooms on the same floor too, the sofa bed very comfortable Has the washing machine and a very convenient dryer, all the spices and condiments needed In addition, Margret was ready to change the check-in dates at her listing due to bad weather and our uncertainty to arrive on the right day. The only small problem is the bedroom which is in the basement, very wet Other than that we had a great time at Margret's place

The place is very well located, close to a cheap fuel station, convenience store and pharmacy, and in walking distance from the centre. It has great amenities and kitchen utensils and anything you can possibly need when away from home. Communication was good and instructions were very clear.

Beautiful location - plus we were lucky enough to see northern lights right there! Place was as described, very comfortable, easy drive to downtown Akureyri. We had a wonderful time - thank you!

We had a beautiful christmas stay here! The apartment was so cosy and we were sad to leave this place. It felt refreshing to be able to cook our dinner every night and sit down and watch some TV. The fold out couch was great for movie nights too!

This Airbnb in Akureyri was a great choice, as it was close to the centre and the interior was really nice (furnished with wooden mid-century furniture, which was a big plus for me). Helga, our host was very friendly and helpful, she recommended great restaurants, we tried one of them, and had a top notch experience.

This was by far the best place we stayed during our visit to Iceland. The unit was nicely equipped from the kitchen to the linens. Location was walkable to dinner and local shopping. We were even able to walk to the docks for our whale watching excursion. Our only driving was to the Forest Lagoon hot springs (highly recommend them, we went twice)

A very cozy and lovely place to stay in, feels like home - well equipped kitchen and bathroom, and the living space was very comfortable. Great location too, close to shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights here!

It is very difficult to get someone to offer you their own house for your stay, and for one night only. Andri and his family do it. It is unbelievable. As amazing is their beautiful home. Magnificent, beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It doesn't deserve 5 points out of 5, it deserves 10 out of 5. Pity that on a trip around Iceland you have to rush to see the sites and can't enjoy the house for a few hours awake, having a drink on the beautiful terrace. Extraordinary. More than recommended.
