Monthly Rentals in Dale

We had an amazing weekend away here for my wife’s 40th birthday. The cottage was just beautiful, peaceful and quirky. We had a lovely meal at The Griffin, we would highly recommend going there. The cottage is in a lovely little village, I would take Sarah’s advice and stop at the Tesco on route. We went out each day, visited Pembroke Castle and then the next we went to Manor Wildlife Park and onto Tenby. Both places were within an hours drive of the cottage. We would love to stay here again!

The cottage is in a beautiful location with views across the water. It was a very peaceful place to spend a week with plenty of space for four adults. We enjoyed lovely walks from the house around the Dale peninsula and a short drive away in Marloe sands - the cafe there the Runwayskiln was a lovely place to have lunch. The Griffin pub is in walking distance from the cottage. The sitting room is really cosy and we enjoyed meals around the dining table with the wood burner on. There are plenty of DVDs but no catch up TV. Lots of books in the cottage as well to make use of. A great stay.

We had a lovely stay. The house has everything you could want and more, and a lot of effort and attention to detail has obviously gone in to making it so. The location was great for us too, with walks from the house and the Skomer ferry a short drive away. The recommendations of The Griffin at Dale and Camille’s pizza were also well received, we ate well from both. Perfect for what we wanted- we want to come back.

We’re a family with two boys under 9, both of whom are obsessed with the beach. The house at Dale, sitting fewer than 15 mins between 2 beaches, couldn’t have suited us better! The house is large with enough space to sleep plenty and also find a moment of peace. The kitchen and lounge are well equipped, along with the games cupboard in the dining room. WiFi worked consistently well. Dale is fantastic for water sports and also has three eateries to cater for most tastes and budgets. I’d recommend Coco’s for a couple’s meal out - fantastic tapas. We stayed 10days, have been home 1 and we’re all missing the place completely! Thanks to Nick and Zoë for their hospitality and I hope we can visit again.
