What an outstanding job Dafydd and Meryl have done converting their old cow barn into a home of outstanding beauty and comfort! From the crackling fireplace that greeted us on arrival to the thoughtful welcome wine, we thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. Meryl was extremely friendly and helpful - going out of her way to run up and show us how to open the woodstove when we couldn't figure out how. I would recommend a stay here to everyone.

We had a beautiful short stay at Sara's cottage exploring around Rhandirmwyn and Llandovery. This is exactly my kind of place: characterful and comfortable with well-chosen vintage furnishings and modern conveniences. The cottage was cosy and peaceful, easy to find thanks to Sara's directions and a perfect base for relaxing and walking. Sara gave us plenty of local tips and responded quickly to queries. Very highly recommended and hope to return one day.

Make sure you visit the community centre hall and gift shop, it doesn't look open but it's brilliant inside and it needs all the support it can get. It serves great soups, cakes and coffee and the gift shop has some really well designed things to buy, it would be so sad if it closed so give it all the support you can so that it's there for us all to enjoy when we book this wonderfully located (for peace, quiet and walks) house again.

Absolutely stunning location. It was so nice to feel we didn’t need to travel miles to make the most of the area as it was all on our doorstep. Beautiful scenery, the sound of water coming down from the hills into the garden , bird song all day and deer running around in the adjacent field. Oh, and stunning night skies! Truly magical. Fiona was great in responding to a couple of enquiries we had to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We would love to return in a different season to see how the views change.
