Monthly Rentals in Currie

We had a wonderful week at Charlotte’s apartment. The apartment was well really well appointed and equipped for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, peaceful and just a couple of minutes by car from Curriehill railway station where there were regular trains to Edinburgh city centre. I would highly recommend Charlotte’s place and would definitely stay there again.

The house is in Baberton, which is perfect location if you want to combine Edinburgh with its surroundings. It takes only 30 mins by bus to get to the city centre. And if you want to drive out of the city, you are just minute’s drive from the highway. Steven and Gillian provided very useful tips about the local sightseeing and they were always very helpful for any question which we had. Their manual in the house is very detailed and provided us with all necessary info as well. We really appreciated the work they put into it. Btw thank you so much for the tip to visit Pentland Hills Regional park - it is really beautiful! We very much appreciated the equipment in the house - the full equipped kitchen, the starter food (toast bread, butter, marmelade, milk and cornflakes, but also oil, coffee, tea, sugar and basic seasoning). Although I knew it from the description and also other reviews, the house is in fact very small. But everything else will compensate for that. The privacy is TOP

Kate's place is a real gem. You need to go. It is peaceful, has everything you need to relax and is in the most glorious location where you can stay in the peace and quiet walking straight out the door and into the Pentlands, or cycle all the way along the water of Leith into Edinburgh city centre. I am already planning to return in spring to see the wildflower meadow in bloom. The bed is really comfortable, and you can just sit in it with a cup of tea in the morning watching the little blue tits and tree creepers flitting around the tree outside. Kate was exceptionally welcoming and kind when we arrived as was her husband, and Poppy (their wirehaired Viszla) was just an angel. Thank you so much for having us, hope to see you again soon.
