Vacation rentals in Cross Creek

Had the best vacation ever, love my lake view and walk to the pool, we fish, the house was in the best spot the cottage was perfect, it felt like I was at my own home, I love sitting on the porch and looking at the lake, if any one wants a good vacation and love to fish or lay out by the pool, and golf cart takes you anywhere you want to go

We had the opportunity to stay at River Haven for a long wedding weekend and it could not of been more perfect! Meg was quick to respond upon check in when we had questions. She was open to us doing some sprucing for our special day and all in all was just super friendly and kind. The home is very large and was able to accommodate our wedding with ease, comfort and beauty! The outside, riverfront yard is absolutely stunning and there were lots of kayaks, floats and fishing gear for us enjoyment! Any issues we had were communicated and resolved either by us with permission or with Meg. We would love to visit River Haven again for a family vacation! We felt very at home! The beds are all very comfortable, the space is great for large groups and the home is cozy for family! Thanks Meg for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home as we begin our beautiful new life!

My wife and I had a great trip at this property. The scenery and outdoor area was absolutely perfect. Watching the water sports on the lake over the weekend was a great time. This is the perfect place to get away, unplug and relax. I would love to make it back for another trip.

As always, our stay was perfect! The bed was comfortable, and the place was clean. We try to stay at one of Lesley's places whenever we come to Melrose!

We absolutely loved our stay at Greg and Denise's place and are eager to stay again. Incredible location right along the river in short walking distance to two springs! Greg and Denise were very responsive and accommodating. While I loved exploring the river by canoe, I think my favorite part of my stay was waking up early, walking down to the river, and watching the fog move through the cypress trees with a hot cup of coffee! Thank you both so much!

Beautiful cozy home. The views are amazing and it’s very comfortable and clean. Getting to the house is a bit scary if you’re getting there late ( no street lights and some dirt roads) but the quiet and peacefulness makes it all worth it. It’s the perfect lake house for a nice relaxing weekend with the family.

This is our 4th time at Salt Springs and our 1st staying at Don and Bobbie's place. Great location, walking distance from the lake and pool. The enclosed porch and paver area out front for grilling is exactly what we always look for. Property was clean, comfortable bed and futon. No central AC but the mini split in the living and portable AC in the room were sufficient to sleep comfortably.

The house was exactly as described. From the outside, it didn't stand out but once you open the door, it's a BIG wow factor. It was gorgeous. There was a lot of empty space which at first seemed strange, but then you start to appreciate the lack of clutter and knick knacks. I was using a walker due to recent back surgery, and the open space was wonderful. The water temp and pressure in the shower was outstanding and much appreciated. The icemaker in the freezer was very nice (we've had to buy ice cube trays for other stays, NOT fun). The tv was very user friendly. Martin communicated with us frequently and was very good at seeing if we needed anything, and left clear instructions of checkout expectations. My only problem is the beds were low and very hard to get out of, but again, that's after back surgery. We can see why this cottage is very popular, and we plan to book it again on a future trip to Ginnie Springs. It gets an A+ from us !

This was a wonderful experience and we will use Lauren again for any future rentals at WEC!
