Absolutely gem of a place to stay. We drove up from Sydney and loved it! Such a peaceful getaway, was lovely seeing more of the Australian wildlife. Layla was also so friendly and responsive to message. Very comfy place to laze around, really enjoyed canoeing and swimming in the river, absolutely would recommend, thankyou again Layla!

Staying at Christiane’s was a highlight of my trip. Her warmth made me feel like a welcomed guest, and thoughtful touches like fresh-cut roses, milk, water, and biscuits made it feel like home. She even offered to cook breakfast each morning, a treat I looked forward to daily. Her hospitality went beyond a beautiful space. She was incredibly generous with her time, gave me a tour of McLean and Yamba, drove me to parks and shops, and offered rides at check-in and check-out. The location is nothing short of magical. Nestled close to nature, this place lets you enjoy the outdoors without going far; I had the joy of watching birds and kangaroos right from my window. One of the highlights was an evening spent around the fire pit with Christiane, Robert and her lovely dog, Kira, sharing stories over a glass of wine. This, along with her kindness, made my trip truly memorable. I know without a doubt that if I return to Grafton, this will be my top choice. Christiane’s place is a gem!

Helen was a welcoming and responsive host, who was eager to make our stay as enjoyable and easy as possible. She left a generous and delicious range of provisions that more than got us through the first night. The unit was cool on arrival a the fans and air conditioner ensured our comfort day and night. The pool was a beautiful way to relax at the end of each day. The proximity to the Clarence River and historic figtree lined streets were an absolute bonus. We definitely want to stay at Helen's when we are next in Grafton.
