Everything at the apartment was homey and comfortable, even with a surprise (to me at least!) April snowstorm! Perfect place to use as home base for exploring and Gretchen’s recommendations through the guide were super helpful.

Marisa's charming home in Hudson Valley, NY, was a delightful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Getting in was seamless, and you felt right at home upon entering. With a guest-guide in the foyer, and a full kitchen, amongst the other amenities like the serenity, hot-tub, and vicinity to Kingston, Rhinebeck, New Paltz, Hudson, and other beautiful places in the area. Marisa was very kind and hospitable, and was professional and responsive. I'd be happy to return to the charming chalet near New Paltz, and appreciate the hospitality. Without a doubt, A+++ Host and a highly recommended peaceful home away from home.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing weekend escape from NYC and couldn’t have picked a better spot. We came to explore Kingston but loved the house so much that we were just as happy staying in, playing games, and soaking in the cozy vibes. The home is beautiful and thoughtfully appointed — I can only imagine how magical it must be in the summer with the porch, or in the fall with the foliage. Even in late winter, it was idyllic. The location is perfect — just about 10 minutes from Kingston, so it’s super easy to pop into town while still feeling tucked away. We’d absolutely stay here again!

We had such an amazing weekend staying here. The location was secluded but just a short 15 min drive to Kingston. The hot tub was a highlight. Would love to come back in the summer to use the pool too!
