Cottage vacation rentals in Coronado Beach

My family loved this place! It is walking distance to the beach, coffee shops, eateries and convenience stores. You'll get used to the airplanes flying overhead every 20 minutes (and they don't fly after about 11 pm, so that's nice). Check in, and out, was super easy. We're already planning on coming back for summer!!!!

Everything was perfect and peaceful and we enjoyed our stay very much!!! it was convenient that The washer and dryer were there. Definitely would stay again.

What can I say, my wife and I had a great trip and a big reason is because of this house. Perfect for a day and even better for longer than that. So close to the beach and the hot tub was perfect for those chilly mornings/evenings. Thank you so much and we will be back for sure!!

We fell in love with this quintessential La Jolla beach bungalow, and felt immediately at home. We especially appreciated family dinners in the spacious private backyard, and walking to the beach, restaurants, and playground. Chip and Elise were perfect hosts and always very responsive. We had an amazing stay and are already planning a return trip!

We had a great stay at this apartment. The kids and I especially loved the hot tub, which was a fun and relaxing way to wind down each evening. I didn’t get a chance to try the sauna, but it’s a nice extra touch. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. I also appreciated that the owners provided tea and coffee for their guests. While the apartment is technically suitable for more, I’d recommend it for no more than two people, as the sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable for sleeping. The location was excellent, and we had no trouble finding parking right in front of the house. Finally, the host was very responsive and attentive. Overall, I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed a week and this small house had everything two people needed for a very pleasant stay. It is very comfortable, relaxed, but also clean and tidy. There were many small touches that made it special. Location put you right in the midst of coffee shops and restaurants.

Great place right in the heart of a quiet Pacific Beach neighborhood. Two bedrooms with comfortable queen beds, a nice-sized living room and modern kitchen. The washer/dryer was also very convenient. We also enjoyed sitting at the outdoor table on a couple of occasions that's near the alleyway. The location is very convenient, just a ~10 minute walk down to Trader Joes and the main drag in PB. Great place and a great value.

I regularly visit the South Park / North Park neighborhoods of San Diego for the weekend and usually stay in Airbnbs. The price point for two nights is almost always between $400 - $500 after all the fees and taxes for ADU-style units like this, but the quality range is wide. Devon's place was a bit above average and I would stay here again. I appreciated the snacks in the room and the bathroom gets great light. I think some small and inexpensive updates to the outdoor space (i.e. lighting, seating) would go a long way given how pleasant the space is. As for the location - you can't go wrong. Only a few blocks away from a bunch of great restaurants / breweries, and coffee shops and it's a great neighborhood for walking and running (save for all the California drivers who seem to drive 40 MPH no matter what). An easy 10-minute Uber to downtown as well.

Second time at this Airbnb!! Totally lovely place to stay. The beds were extra comfy and all the furnishings and supplies were comfortable and durable: really feels like home. Walking distance to the beach and 2 groceries, also Kate Sessions is a really beauty park (you enter the natural area from the north side). On the walk up there, you get panoramic views of San Diego and Isla Coronado. Then the chaparral vegetation of the park was filled with wildflowers! Kind of a well-kept secret park, that you can walk to!

Great experience, great location. It's on a main street so it's busy with traffic, at times. Not a bad thing, but just something to point out. The front is private and gated from the traffic by a beautiful and inviting area to lounge and hang out with our pups. Lovely home with all that we needed during our stay. Great host and super responsive! Would love to stay again!

Victor was an outstanding host. I loved the cottage and its beautiful surroundings. I was on an extended work trip and brought my dog along, and the hospitality was exceptional throughout my entire stay. My dog enjoyed the enclosed backyard and felt very safe. We have stayed with Lisa multiple times in the past year. It’s like a home away from home. Very easy to get to and convenient to visiting friends and family. Very quiet neighborhood and cozy place inside.

We had a fantastic stay! Michael is on the ball and made sure we had clear directions on how to enter the cottage, where to park, where to find the keys, etc. He also greeted us shortly after arrival and made sure to see us off. Mike lives in the back unit and makes himself very available for anything you may need - while also leaving you to your privacy if you don’t need anything. The cottage is perfect and even better than the photos. It’s the perfect beach stay, well lit, and full of interesting furniture pieces and art. He’s also got tons of spices, tea, instant coffee, bakeware, etc. so you aren’t wanting for anything. The cocktail table in the front was great for a pre dinner drink and afternoon sun. Town is walkable with great restaurants steps away. The cottage is on a quiet street but easily accessible to the OB scene. Additionally, super close to the freeway entrance so you can get around SD with ease. Needless to say - we loved the cottage and will absolutely be back!

Jordy’s place was perfect for my weekend in San Diego! The house was so charming and had all the amenities listed. Jordy was very communicative and answered all my questions and made sure check in was a breeze. Super convenient location too; it’s central to all the main things to do in the city! I would definitely stay here when I visit again.

Bill’s place is beautifully done and has everything you need. He is so nice and has great recommendations for the neighborhood. Great location with convenient freeway access. We have stayed here multiple times and we would certainly return!

What a lovely place. And an amazing host. The place is awesome. Just when we couldn't believe how many snacks/drinks Robert left for us, he delivered a huge Easter platter with delicious baked goods. One of the Airbnb experiences we have ever had. Thank you!

Best of the best! This place is an oasis with wonderful hospitality and attention to detail. The cottages are super well cared for, very clean and well stocked. I loved staying at Anna’s cottage. It’s beautiful, serene, and in a great location. Anna is a kind, lovely host. Her care for her guests’comfort is apparent in everything— excellent communication, comfortable, really attractive furnishings and lighting, thoughtful amenities, the sense of light and uncluttered space everywhere in the house. Lovely outside space too. And such a beautiful view! I didn’t want to leave.

I had an extended stay at Daniel’s place and had a great time. The place could not be in a more perfect spot close to everything you could want to do. It was the perfect California experience. Daniel was also responsive and provided great recommendations. Overall this was an awesome time!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely beach cottage! We traveled with our two young children and this house was perfect for what we needed. The kid friendly amenities and peaceful street really stood out. The community this home is in is a sweet retreat, our kids even played with some of the neighbor children. I also appreciated all of the local recommendations. And lastly the location to the beach can’t be beat! Would stay here again!
