We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Shepard's Cottage! From the moment we arrived, Mandy's warm and welcoming greeting made us feel right at home. She took the time to walk us through everything we needed to know, offered fantastic recommendations for local attractions, and ensured we had a seamless stay. The cottage itself is a stunning blend of stylish country charm and modern comfort. Immaculately clean and equipped with all the essentials, it's the perfect retreat. But what truly sets Shepard's Cottage apart is its breathtaking setting on a 2000-acre farm. The views are simply spectacular, and the peaceful nights' sleep on the plush, comfortable bed is nothing short of rejuvenating. I woke up feeling refreshed and revitalized! We can't wait to return, especially during cherry-picking season. Shepard's Cottage has earned a special place in our hearts as our absolute favorite getaway. The hosts are lovely, the location is idyllic, and we feel grateful to have experienced it.

Great place to stop over on a family road trip. Everything was very thoughtful (even decorated for Christmas!) and I particularly appreciated how lovely the linen used was (very high quality). Breakfast was provided along with a wine which made the stay extra homey, and was a very short walk for dinner at the hotel. The sunset over the hills was magnificent. Excellent accommodation option in the Hilltops region. Easy driving distance to Young, multiple orchards and other attractions. The place is part of a larger farm and the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. The cottage itself is clean, comfortable and exactly as described. A perfect combination of old age charm and modern amenities. Peter is a very gracious host. He met us at the door when we arrived and offered great suggestions of what to do on the area. Highly recommended!
