Great peaceful place to stay, our second year of visiting. Orgiva is an interesting place in a great area, with a great mix of culture, food and folk. The house, grounds and hosts are fantastic and I would recommend them to everyone. This is very unlikely to be our last visit.

A tranquil stay in a very well maintained house with beautiful surroundings.

Lovely place to relax with ever-helpful and welcoming hosts Marie and Martyn. In 2023 my wife and I broke our journey and stayed here for 1 day. In 2024, we intentionally increased the length of our holiday so that we could break our journey with a 2-day stay here. Now we are trying to work out how we can visit for longer in 2025!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were looking for private accommodation for a family with a four year old child. So that our daughter could be free in the garden. The pool is clean and very nice. Nearby Orgiva is a charming town. If you want to spend time in peace with your family, this is the place. Breakfast in the shade of an olive tree. Relax by the pool overlooking the beautiful mountains. Barbecue in the evening. Beaches within driving distance. Lots to see nearby (Granada, Pampaneira and more). Antonio is a very communicative and friendly person. He helped us with everything we needed, nothing was a problem. Thank you for everything, we spent a wonderful time here.

The stay in this home was very positive. The views from the pool are breathtaking, offering an environment of peace and quiet while refreshing. The house is perfectly equipped with air conditioning and a balcony accessible from the master bedroom. It is the ideal place to relax, and is close to tourist areas such as Mojácar and relatively close to the beaches of Parque Natural del Cabo de Gata-Níjar (about 45-60 min drive). Car is a must to access the place and can be easily parked in front of the house. All items and amenities specified in the listing are accurate. Also, the host provides a guide with places of interest to visit in the area. In short, it is a highly recommended place for those looking to enjoy a little paradise in Spain.

We had a marvellous week in a quiet and beautiful area just about a mile from Órgiva. The casita and pool are very private, with lovely views of the mountains. Saeid, the host, was extremely helpful with advice re. local restaurants and places to visit but never intrusive. Inside the house, there is everything you need, including many sockets for everything all your appliances. I was very pleased to have so many tv channels in English. Everything was great I can't recommend it highly enough

Had a wonderful 5 nights as a couple at Ashley's place in early/mid-October. Rarely does such thought go into making visitors so welcome and providing not only the essentials for your stay but so much more. If there's a model for how to run an Air BnB for the satisfaction of your guests then this must be it. The location is great if you like the outdoors - with hiking and cycling starting at the door. We hiked every day, both locally and in the surrounding area. The hamlet in which the property lies is very authentically Rural Spain, but close enough to the necessary amenities (10 min drive). A car is definitely beneficial for exploring. The property is spotless, has everything you need, is well thought out and has terrific views. Despite considering the matter, we could think of no flaws. Go (if you can find any availability)! Thank you Ashley.

the house is very rustic, beautiful,it has a lot of nice touches,it is a haven of peace,if you are looking for tranquility this is your place. hosts Annie and San are lovely and make you feel like you're in paradise.

Just over week back from our stay in Torvizcon - the house was as described, a really traditional home with plenty of space to relax, cook and dine with the little outdoor terrace on the top floor being a favourite, especially as the sun sets across the mountains. There is a church opposite and a school, but neither the sound of kids playing or the bells ringing disturbed us overly. The village roads are very steep (it's a mountain village) so we left our car parked at the little parking space above the village and navigated the 100m down to the house rather than drive down. We used the house as a base to explore the wider Sierra Nevada and Granada areas and it was a good location to do this from and a nice house to come back to after a day in the mountains. The village itself is small, not a touristy place and this was some of the attraction, however it has a couple of basic shops and bars with supermarkets about 20 mins away. Host was responsive and house was clean.

Samantha was lovely and friendly. The wine and welcome pack made our day! The location is absolutely beautiful , private and feels remote yet 2 mins walk to the village ! The restoration of the properties is exactly right - tasteful, simple and relaxing. Everything was spotless. The bed was so comfy! Well equipped with more kitchen equipment than most Spanish AirBnBs so much easier to self cater here than other places we’ve stayed in Spain. If you want a restful retreat in lovely unspoiled rural Spain this is a perfect option. As regular visitors to Almeria we will definitely consider staying here next time we are in the area.

Accommodation is very good. A house with all the basic necessities and more. Communication at all times with Ramón for what we needed, definitely a success having chosen this house. If we decide to go back, we already know where to stay. * * * * *

Very pleasant stay at Gerrit and Eveline's. The house is extremely clean and has everything you need. The hosts are welcoming, warm and available. The proximity to the beach and the center is pleasant, without the inconvenience of noise. We'll be happy to go back!

We are delighted with our station, the place is equipped with everything you need and the location is completely privileged, the owners are attentive and thoughtful, I definitely recommend it.

Excellent apartment to enjoy within a few days in the Alpujarra Granadina, very well conditioned and with the necessary items for a good stay. The terrace with mountain views is much appreciated and the free public parking is very close to the place. Very comfortable beds and mattresses. I hope to return soon.

We had a great time! The house and space are beautiful, no noises and you can rest and disconnect. Also you have many hiking trails in the surroundings. We will be back!

Stunning house with light minimalistic interior design but still very well equipped. Immaculately clean and private location. Enjoyed the deep concrete pool with wonderful views into the mountains. Very cute and friendly cat was a bonus. Mick was a great host and made us feel very welcome.

Magnificent accommodation to visit Cabo de Gata or even not to go out all day and enjoy the pool and barbecue (we stayed for a week and it took us two days). Very well designed the outdoor area ( pool, garden, porch, …). Excellent parking (huge and easily accessible). Comfortable house with very well equipped kitchen. If you have to look for any inconvenience it would be that I only had a bathroom, but it was not a problem with the spectacular showers in the pool. Fernando has been a real host. We have gone to many AirBnB homes over the better or worse years, but very rarely to real homes ( once in Brooklyn and once in Cantabria ). It is very different to stay in a tourist accommodation designed specifically for that purpose, in a family home where everything is lovingly arranged for your own enjoyment. It's from the places we'll try to come back to for the cat rope and the place to stay.

very quiet place, including the pool , a wonderful garden in which to dine fresh and the kitchen and bathroom very well equipped , in the house the hosts are left for amac guests, ball towels, diving goggles, floats , my children enjoyed these toys , thank you we will repeat

Egbert was really helpful before, during and after our stay. the location of the house is really good and has a variety of areas to eat out in the shade or sun. the pool has a grassy shaded area with a good selection of sun beds supplied by Egbert. the pool is a good size and never gets crowded even in August! the info book was really useful and thoughtfully put together with many useful suggestions of where to visit in the area. Although we have been visiting the area for many years we even found new places to visit. the Lunar Cable park and inflatables at the resevoir was a good morning out and our grand children loved the infatable obstacle course. there is a good snack bar on site. Get there early and allow a couple of hours only. we often eat at Triana in the Valle de Este resort as the food is great and always consistent quality. if you dont fancy a full meal you can just work your way through the tapas! great holiday, great house and great hosts! enjoy!

We had a lovely week here. The local beach, which you can walk to in about 30 mins or drive, is wonderful, and on October weekdays we had it almost to ourselves. The house is very comfortable and well equipped, with a good kitchen and barbecue area outside. The outside seating area was really nice with lovely plants and a decent amount of shade for those who prefer to keep out of the sun. It was hot for the time of year when we visited but the house remained nice and cool. Overall a really lovely house and garden to chill out in.

Great weekend, the area is beautiful and the place as described, typical Las Alpujarras house, comfortable and comfortable. Cristina is very attentive at all times. Highly recommended

Location, communication all good. Nice house with amazing pool, everything you need including pizza oven! Only downside kitchen was a little messy/not very clean.
