Casa-Cueva in Nijar. Almeria

M ÁngelesRating, 5 stars21 months ago
the earth house is a monkey, such as the photos... very comfortable and if you are looking for tranquility, you will have it. The village is three minutes away... the only thing is that you do not wear heels for the curbs that are there. Paco and Claudia are wonderful, very attentive and friendly people. The mini pool was spectacular. My children were spectacular and we enjoyed it. The garden is beautiful and ideal for breakfasts and dinners. Very well equipped kitchen. And in the summer evenings you don't know the heat. Highly recommended place.
A cozy cave bedroom features a double bed with a striped cover and decorative pillows. Warm tones are complemented by a unique blue wall accent. Soft lighting is provided by wall sconces, and a small seating area is adjacent to a rustic washstand.

Casa Cueva de Topete (Sierra de Cazorla)

Juan MiguelRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Wonderful stay in an awesome place. Ideal temperature, beautiful decor and style, with closeness and tranquility. Totally recommended, as the site fits any plan. From a getaway with friends (our case) to a romantic end or a family outing. We had a great time and will definitely be back. The horseback riding route, 100% recommended, as are the restaurants in the area, where you can eat very well. We returned relaxed and very happy. Thank you very much for everything to Jose and his family. With love, the Topete cave group
A cozy living area features a rustic wooden dining table surrounded by several chairs. A comfortable seating space is visible, adorned with patterned cushions. The walls exhibit a textured finish, complemented by an overhead woven light fixture and natural light filtering through a nearby window.

RentitRev Sunny Garden in a Cozy Cave "Oliva"

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had a wonderful stay at Cueva Oliva. The hosts were extremely helpful and were quick to respond to my issues - including a rental car problem that I personally could not address due to my phone SIM being unable to call the service number. I was worried that it would be hard to find, but for once, google maps will get you to within 10 meters of the cave (one more driveway after it tells you that you are there). The kitchen had everything you might need, and the space heaters took the chill and dampness out of the cave. The patio furniture has been significantly upgraded since the photos were taken: Table and chairs, lounge chairs, hammock. As this is a cave, the ceiling heights, and door opening heights are variable. I am 5' 9" and had to mind the bathroom door opening carefully. The ceiling slopes downward toward the kitchen sink. I felt my hair contacting the ceiling. The shorter you are, the happier you will be with the ceiling heights. All in all- a unique and wonderful experience
A stone structure featuring a blue door is positioned at the forefront, surrounded by dry, rocky terrain and mountainous scenery. The building showcases traditional architecture with a nearby whitewashed wall, while the pathway leads up towards the hills in the background.

MIRASIERRA

DavidRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Unique experience to stay in a cave surrounded by amazing countryside! The caves a bit , but it’s a cave and it looked cool! I was slightly surprised by some of the reviews complaining about lack of natural light, this is a cave!!! Seriously what are you expecting, hahahaha! Sunset sat up in the castle 100 yards from the cave looking out over the valley was cosmic! On the whole a lovely experience!
A bathroom is shown with two ornate mirrors framed in gold, reflecting the detailed wall tiles in red and cream. A pair of stone sinks is positioned below the mirrors, and neatly stacked white towels are visible on a shelf in the background. Natural light enters through a small window.

It was perfect. The owner is very nice and attentive. She struggles to communicate but nothing out of the ordinary, you can understand her perfectly by the directions. The cave is beautiful and an experience I would recommend to everyone. Plus she leaves you a welcome gift 🥰

The Guadix Cave, a jewel of nature

MartaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The stay at Maria Jose's house was spectacular, the photos are totally like the house. It is an ideal place to be quiet, apart from being able to visit everything, apart from Maria Jose is always attentive to anything you need or want to visit. We will definitely be back for more days because the stay was too short.

Cave in the Cuevas de Guadix neighborhood

LucyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had an incredible stay. We weren’t able to stay in the cave we had originally booked, so Carlos upgraded us to an even bigger and more beautiful cave and it completely exceeded expectation. The views from the terrace were stunning, the log fire was cosy, all the facilities and appliances were high quality and new, and the entire property was so cleverly laid out. A really special way to spend New Year.

The Crystal Cave

Sergio EliasRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We spent a few days in the cave house and felt right at home. It is the perfect place to disconnect not only due to the layout of the house (3 of the rooms are excavated in the stone so they maintain a constant temperature all year round, about 21º or so), but also for the views you have from the patio that is at the entrance. The place is just as described in both the listing and in the comments of other travelers, who have also helped us a lot. It goes down very well to the house; in fact we have gone with an older person who can walk and there have been no problems since the house has a side staircase through where you can easily reach the top of the mountain, where you have to leave the car because there is quite a steep slope to the entrance. About 10 km from the village are the baths of Zujar, completely free and accessible 24 hours to which we have gone every day. Everything was perfect, thank you Lucía

We had a wonderful stay. They thought of everything and generous with snacks, towels, pillows, blankets, coffee etc. they have thought of everything and their pride in the place is evident. I highly recommend this place. We were taken on a magnificent tour up the top of the ridge by the owner. Can’t say enough. We wished we stayed more nights.

Troglodyte Habitat Almagruz-Cueva Grande (5-6 pax)

AndyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Fantastic place to relax. An interesting location with a great little museum about the caves as well. You do get noise from the nearby highway when you're outside, but that didn't really disturb us (and you can't hear it in the caves). Manuel and his colleagues were excellent hosts. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you!
A tranquil outdoor pool glows softly under the night sky, surrounded by lush greenery. Soft ripples in the water reflect the light, while a shallow circular area is integrated into the design, enhancing the pool's inviting layout.

We loved our stay at Cuevas la Chumbera. While we used the accommodation as a home base to visit many areas outside of Benalua, the time we had at our accommodation was wonderful and will provide our family with happy memories of our travel to Spain. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay.
