Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Colombo

I really enjoyed my stay with Camie. He has a wonderful house at a serene and beautiful green part of Colombo. The room is air - conditioned with a mini fridge, Coffee maker etc. The breakfast was also very nice with Sri Lankan cusine. Camie is kind, a wonderful host always attentive to your requirements. I wholeheartedly reccomend his house and would be staying with him on my next visit to Sri Lanka.

Thomas managed to create an oasis in the middle of a busy area. Clean spacious rooms are complemented by cozy living areas to sit and have a chat with friends and family. Large landscaped garden is a wonderful place to unwind after a busy day of traveling. Thomas makes you feel as a part of the family and will go above and beyond to make your stay a comfortable one. It was an amazing experience!!

This is beautiful, calm and sweet residence with very comfortable and spacious guest rooms. The owners are beyond kind and helpful, and the caretaker is such a sweetheart. The area is nice, quiet and very safe. It is close to the major hospitals if you are having any visits there. And with a short Tuk Tuk ride you can get to many attractions and shopping areas. I could not recommend this place more whole-heartedly.

Priya's place is great! He is a great host and his staff is very friendly. It is close to the airport.

Hans and the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them , small incident and was sorted immediately by Hans. Food was very good . Very happy and would come again.

Black Cat is the place to stay in Columbo! From the lovely cafe downstairs, incredibly friendly hosts and staff, to the spotless and well appointed rooms. Small touches everywhere that make a stay in more comfortable all added up to a lovely final night before we flew home from Columbo. Highly recommended for a great way to start or end trip to Sri Lanka :)

I loved staying at Lens place! He and his Son were waiting for me when I arrived at the AirPort, it’s only a 15min drive to the homestay. Really Nice breakfast and just a sweet family. Room was big and clean.

Sharmini was a very hospitable host who made my stay a memorable one. She welcomed me with a delicious Sri Lankan lunch when I checked in the early afternoon and was very accommodating to my needs during my stay. Her place is a refurbished old suburban house that is walking distance to a large shopping centre with bus stops and tuktuks nearby. Definitely recommended if you want to experience living like a local, and an absolute bonus if you love cats and dogs who also share this space. Thankyou again Sharmini for making my stay in Colombo one to remember by!!

We had two nights here. It is absolutely beautiful. Overlooking the lagoon. Lovely rooms, very clean. Swimming pool was lovely. We had free use of the kayaks on the lagoon. The host was very responsive, gave us advice on where to go and organised us a driver/tour guide. Food was also amazing. Would definitely recommend. It was a great place to start our holiday. This place was a real find in the heart of a fishing community. The accommodation was comfortable and used by backpackers. The joy of staying was its authenticity - sitting in the courtyard, relaxing on the beach in hammocks and eating fresh food in their fish restaurant. It was extremely pretty and carefully considered. Breakfast pancakes were pretty good too!!

Great room, with air conditioning and hot water. Large and comfortable bathroom. The room overlooks the garden, where the birds fly and the sounds of the jungle can be heard. The house is very clean. The host is an amazingly kind and sociable person who also loves to travel. Constantly treated me to all sorts of goodies. The house is located in a quiet location in a residential area, while within walking distance you can find parks, cafes, restaurants, shops and laundry’s. Also a 15-minute taxi ride is the bus station and the railway station, from which you can go anywhere in Sri Lanka. The center of Colombo is about 20-30 minutes by scooter.

Our stay was great and the room was one of the best of our stay - the price is super fair and the host very helpful.
