Vacation rentals with a kayak in Colchester

Palmers place was incredible. We were three families and went for Winter break. We were less than an hour from Sugarbush, Bolton Valley, and Smuggs. For non-skiiers, the house was a nice and peaceful getaway with options to snowshoe on the frozen lake and around. Kitchen was well stocked. Coffee station is versatile and impressive. Stocked with paper towels, toilet papers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Super clean. Would stay again.

We wanted to ski at Smuggler’s Notch for Presidents’ Day weekend. We found Sherry’s lake house in Milton VT. It was better than the pictures. Cozy and relaxing with a beautiful lake view. We almost didn’t want to leave the living room overlooking the lake. Sherry and her husband are fantastic hosts and I would definitely stay here again. They are proactive hosts who naturally know how to make their guests comfortable. Overall we had a great time and the kids were sad to leave. Highly recommend for a family of four.

It's always a treat when the place looks EVEN BETTER in person than in the beautiful pictures! Visited in mid-Feb for a wintery getaway. The indoor space was phenomenal, with many modern touches and thoughtfully (lovingly) selected decor - we instantly felt relaxed and at home. The sauna was lovely as well. Something so magical about watching the snow fall over a lake while you sweat it out.

My family stayed at this incredible Airbnb during an unexpected snowstorm, and it turned what could have been a stressful situation into a magical winter retreat! From the moment we arrived, the host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety. The property itself was immaculate—think warm, inviting interiors, a gas fireplace, made it comfortable while watching the snow fall outside. The kitchen was fully equipped, which was a lifesaver since we couldn’t venture out, and close location to stores made it convenient to stock up before the storm. Little touches like extra towels and fast Wi-Fi made the stay feel luxurious despite the weather chaos. What truly stood out was the host’s responsiveness. When we had a small issue, their kindness and proactive communication made us feel so cared for. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-appointed escape—especially in winter—this is a AirBnB gem. My wife and I had an amazing time in Vermont! Jody's cabin was so cozy and comfortable, we wish we could have stayed a whole nother month. It's a bit tucked away (which we loved) and directions to get there were super clear. Once inside it had everything we needed, and Jody was super responsive and flexible with all of our asks. Have never stayed in an airbnb twice before but this one may break the streak :) Can't recommend it more highly!

Caitlyn’s location is amazing. Absolutely incredible views right on Lake Champlain. Good location to other activities. Caitlyn was very responsive and helped us every step of the way. The house was spotless, comfortable, and it was a great spot to spend time. Highly recommend this place for others.

Tamara’s place is awesome! Big enough space for everyone to hang out which can be hard to find for bigger groups. 3.5 bathrooms are another huge plus! I would highly recommend her place, great location and great host!!!

Home away from home! Susan was a fantastic host. She was very responsive and communicated quickly. This home was perfect for our group of 6 and it was extremely cozy! This was our first time in Vermont and it definitely exceeded all of our expectations. If you looking for a pleasant place to stay with amazing views, look no further than this adorable Airbnb! We skied in Stowe, toured the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream factory down the road and enjoyed some live music at the ZenBarn. I would highly recommend this property! We hope to visit again soon :)

Our stay was amazing! We were moving our daughter into her dorm at UVM and were in Burlington for a week. We decided to stay here rather than a hotel near campus. It was the best decision ever. Jack and Robin’s cottage was the perfect place to prepare for dorm move-in. We were able to get out and explore the area. The sunrises over Lake Champlain were beautiful while we drank our morning coffee. Walks on the causeway were great for watching sunsets. 10/10 will stay here again when we visit our daughter at UVM. Go Catamounts!

Karen’s cabin was a dream getaway for us! From check-in til we (sadly) drove away, we kept wanting to make sure we spent time around the cabin, pond and around the beautiful property to soak it after hiking, visiting restaurants, and driving into town. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed four our stay. The heat worked great, especially on the colder nights. The shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. Everything was accessible and we even enjoyed the decorative elements too! The property was beautiful and we had a lot of fun walking around on the little well maintained paths, having a little fire by the pond, and just enjoying the quiet. Karen gave us restaurant and hike recommendations, made sure our check in went smoothly (since we got in late in the evening), and even reached out to give us a heads up about ticks in the area. She was super responsive, and we would love to come back and visit on what would now be our engagement anniversary!

This was our family’s 2nd stay here and it was just as amazing as the 1st. The cabin is super clean, the kitchen is packed with more than you’ll ever need to prepare meals, the back porch views are totally so worth the 10+ hour drive. We absolutely love this place. Thank you, Beebee Farm, for helping to make some of our family’s most cherished memories! We hope to return soon!

Was a great place!

We had a lovely stay here! We went for a cozy Valentine’s Day weekend. :) There was a huge snow storm and the hosts were very responsive and proactive! If you go in the winter, def recommend an AWD vehicle! Looking forward to going back this summer! 🎉

Catherine’s cottage is absolutely stunning. Very well appointed with absolutely everything you’d need for a stay. The location is stunning with true million dollar views. Sunrises are amazing while enjoying your coffee (from inside the kitchen, living room, or on the huge deck). Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out.

Jim was very communicative. The location was peaceful. The deck is amazing and we spent most of our time there while at the camp. Lovely cabin!

Robin's cabin was very homey and had a lot of great books and games. The hot tub was lovely and clean. All of Robin's instructions and messages were clear and helpful. I would say you should definitely have 4 wheel drive if you go when it snows.

Our stay at the ZaLo waterfront cabin was nothing short of peaceful and cozy. The space had everything we needed to make the most of our winter stay. We especially enjoyed utilizing the fully stocked kitchen to enjoy homemade meals and braving the cold to warm up in the conveniently located hot tub. Jon and his family were extremely welcoming and communicative. It’s apparent they take pride in their spaces and truly enjoy making experiences memorable for others.

We had a very quiet and peaceful stay, the view of the lake at sunset and sunrise was phenomenal, the cabin felt like home

Selene was great host and provided all the information necessary. The place is definitely for true outdoorsmen and she made that very clear throughout the process. Location is secluded and peaceful. Thankful that I could have the full New England experience in the woods. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get out of the city.

this cottage was perfect for our getaway. from the sunrise coming up over the mountains and lake to kayaking the lake and just pure peace and serenity. the views were amazing and not too far away from stowe and the capital. I would come back and stay here again and again. suggest to have 4 wheel drive as dirt roads going to cottage but so worth it. the screened in porch was our favorite place to be. fall foliage beautiful. highly recomrecommend
