Apartment vacation rentals in Cockburn Town

I loved my time at Villa Kaya. Renato and Teresa were wonderful hosts, super responsive before and during my stay. They were more than happy to answer any questions that I had, give me local recommendations, etc. They also helped arrange airport pickup and dropoff for me. There were instructions at the property for everything from wifi to local restaurants. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. It was very well stocked and i didn't find a single thing missing. All the amenities listed where provided. It was really amazing to have the Golf cart, a cooler, beach chairs and umbrella for getting around to the islands amazing beaches. Sunrise each morning was fabulous. The beach at the Villa is so quiet, I only saw 3 people the whole 10 days I was there. Some reviews mentioned bad seaweed on the beach, that was not my experience. There was some buildup of dry seaweed/seagrass on the beach and a little bit in the water, but it was still great for swimming and relaxing.

This was my 2nd time staying at this location and I love it. it is the lost convenient location on Salt Cay. Debbie is wonderful and knows the island better than anyone, she can guide you with anything you need. She is a great host.

Renato and Teresa were always ready and available to help. They made our trip the best it could be. From great restaurant , beach and sightseeing suggestions, to fixing my bicycle. We were extremely happy with our accommodation and location. Away from the hustle and bustle when cruise boats were in port. We would definitely not hesitate to return. Thankyou Renato’s and Teresa.

The best way to describe my experience was “when you’re here you’re family.” Ed and Faith Anne were amazing hosts who made sure I was taken care of and comfortable. As a solo traveler this was really important to me and I felt like family immediately. They were readily available when I needed them and respected my privacy. The unit was very cute and clean and came complete with a friendly guard dog :) It was located right across from a gorgeous beach and having the golf cart was priceless. I had a great time exploring the island and went on a super fun snorkel trip with the host’s excursion company. I highly recommend staying here and would go back just so I could hang with Ed and Faith Anne again!

If you are looking for a beautiful getaway from the hustle and bustle of life- this is it!! We loved our stay at the Reef House. All of the locals were very friendly and helpful. If you visit please be sure to give love to our beach doggie friend. She came by everyday to see us. I would definitely come back for another stay. 🩷🫏🐕

We loved that the beach was empty, even relatively empty on cruise ship days. It's about a 20-minute walk to restaurants, the museum, etc. Some other restaurants are a bit further away -- maybe a ten-minute ride. Definitely rent a vehicle -- a golf cart worked for us. The grocery store is a five minute drive away. It was definitely worth the trip, but keep in mind that Grand Turk is pretty remote. We are trying to figure out our next trip back. Go. If you love peace and quiet, stay here.

Charlotte was very accommodating to us. We missed the last flight over to Grand Turks & she adjusted the rate for us. Since we literally booked the day before we arrived, we didn’t get the opportunity to read information about the area. When we arrived we found out that nothing much was open on Sunday and that you couldn’t purchase alcohol from the supermarket on Sunday. The Airbnb was very nice though and we spent our time there enjoying the beach that the property was on. I will definitely consider going back there again. Thank you Charlotte, although we didn’t personally meet you, I feel you were a great host.

The Reef House was just as described. Enjoyed our meals on the screened in porch looking at the beautiful ocean and listening to the waves. The sunsets were absolutely stunning. Charlotte arranged a taxi for us upon arrival and we were able to secure a golf cart with her help as well!

Debbie and Ollie were fantastic hosts. Salt Cay is a special place that is really how the Caribbean used to be (even though it’s technically the tropical Atlantic) Rustic and clean, Tradewinds was the perfect home base for us to explore from. Debbie shared invaluable local knowledge and helped us arrange everything for transport, to food , to booking on the local ferry to Grand Turk. This is place that is real and charming, and the people are the same. If your realistic about your tourist infrastructure expectations you will enjoy yourself fully and count yourself lucky. North beach is not to be missed.

This place is incredible! Perfect as close to a private beach as you can get for the price. And the dogs!! The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. It is close to a few restaurants and grocery stores if you don’t rent a car or golf cart, but I’d recommend renting a cart for at least some of the trip. The owner provided us with detailed instructions and information on pretty much everything which was so helpful and the cell phone provided was a great amenity. I never had to turn on my cell service to make local calls. The Wi-Fi was great, works all the way down to the ocean, so being able to connect with family at home over Christmas without the added cell charges was awesome! While we were there the manager checked in on us and they even had a team there just maintaining the beach and the landscaping around the property. I can’t say enough about this place! I fell “IN LOVE”! and cannot wait to go back! Hopefully Christmas 2024!

We stayed 7 nights at Crabtree #3 and loved it. You can’t beat the clean white sand beach & crystal blue waters in your front yard! And best snorkeling on island with puffer fish, octopus, barracuda & lots of colorful fish even in waist-deep water. We saw 3 other people on the beach the entire time. House was wonderful!!!- only the bedrooms are air conditioned and living room gets hot (and we’re from Texas). Restaurants are “ok” and pricey. Cooked most meals, but grocery store is pricey - $10 butter, $7 shredded chz. Rented a golf cart which is needed IMO. WiFi is fast (I had to work). On scuba dive - my 13 yr old saw a 12’ Hammerhead at 90’ & loved “the wall.” He caught a 15 lb blue fin tuna, smaller mackerel, alabacore and two barracuda. Typically catch ~10 fish on deep sea fishing trips but happy. Local dogs & donkeys are friendly. We felt safe - slept with doors open / screens locked. Overall the most peaceful vacation ever!
