House vacation rentals in Clearfield County

The pictures were beautiful, but seeing is believing. A comfy lake house with anything you could ask for. clear instructions, a manual with the house rules and instructions for check out. The bottom floor has ample room with a bar area, access to the back yard and beautiful views of the late. Having a laundry room was a great touch. The ground floor, where most of the rooms were located, has a family room with board games, ample space for sitting, eating with a group and cozy for watching movies. I was extremely impressed that they had a PS3 with Little Big Planet, we played that for hours after dinner. I highly recommend this beautiful home by the lake and will book again when I’m in town next season.

My family and I stayed at Kelly’s place as our home base for Groundhog Day. Such a beautiful house - brand-spankin’ new and in pristine condition. Kelly was very responsive to our questions and more than accommodating (got to meet her awesome dad, too). My kids were asking if we could move there. Next time we’re in the PA Wilds, we’ll be back.

Paul’s place was the perfect size for our weekend with friends. We had one concern, and Paul was quick to respond and take care of it. We were disappointed to see that the lake was drained, but that was just our unfortunate timing of our trip. I would recommend the home as it is a great value for the price.

A great stay for a family! Was a great spot for a big group. Kitchen has great amount of pots, pans, dishes. One note — the backyard area is not fenced in, and while neighbors are friendly, there is a lot of free roam space so keep an eye on dogs and kids. Very comfortable space for a family to spend time together.

The house has everything you need! Including spices and such for cooking which is huge when traveling, it makes things so much easier! The space is inviting and gives you tons of things to do! Including family games! Would definitely recommend! Kim was very kind and responsive!

We found the Elk River Lodge while looking for a place to stay close to Penn State. When we arrived, the check-in was simple and the lodge was spotless. The host provided everything needed for our stay and he was very attentive. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come up to see a football game.

We had a very enjoyable stay. We were very pleasantly surprised with the home, it was better than we had imagined. The house was amazing and fit our needs perfectly! It felt just like home. There were local treats waiting for us at check in and they were wonderful. We are already talking about returning this summer.

We liked Krazy Kitchen Floor Place so much that we came back for another extended stay this summer. There were hardly any issues, but Justin responded immediately regarding a couple of minor things.

Walt is a great host! Quick to respond and a purpose to please his guests. We hope to return next year after such an accommodating experience this past weekend. Highly recommend a stay at Walts home.

Lynsey’s place was perfect! I booked it for myself and my bridesmaids to stay/get ready in for my wedding weekend at The Roost Event Center. It was the perfect set up, wonderful for pictures and overall just a really nice place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Matthew & Chelsea’s place! It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The fenced yard was good for our dogs and there was a nice dog park down the street.

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse with 4 adults and 3 children. Everything was great. We made the trek to Gobbler's Knob to celebrate Groundhog Day. We would love to return in warmer months for a peaceful stay. Susan is a great host. Everything was better than expected and communication was quick and reliable. Highly recommend!!

Kristens place had everything we needed for our weekend trip! It was conveniently located & a short drive to Penn State, also very clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Girls weekend getaway at this beautiful home and property! Wow! Deb was prompt and friendly in our communications. Every room was comfortable and felt like home. We especially loved the cozy fireplace, sunroom and amazing kitchen. It snowed and we felt like we were in a Hallmark movie with the lovely view of trees, water and even deer! The hot tub was relaxing and everything is absolutely spotless inside and out. We loved our stay and would like to visit again.
