Vacation rentals in Clearfield County

This place was magical. The home is so private and peaceful. We saw deer off the back porch more than a few times. Bruce & Cora were wonderful hosts. The house was stocked with eggs, cereal, coffee, juice etc. What a nice touch...especially when it snowed and we decided not to go into town for food one night. Bruce even used his personal plow to scrape the driveway so we wouldn't have any problems with the snow or ice. Highly recommend this home. This is a great place to stay for the Groundhog Festival. Close enough to all the fun but far enought away from all the crowds.

We enjoyed our stay at Matthew & Chelsea’s place! It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The fenced yard was good for our dogs and there was a nice dog park down the street.

Great camp/lodge in the woods! This place was clean and comfortable and has an awesome griddle for preparing meals for a large group. We had a work crew doing natural resources surveys in the area and this place was a way better option than the hotels by the interstate! The large covered front porch was perfect for hanging up gear to dry and relaxing when the weather was wet!

Beautiful setting even in the winter. Well stocked kitchen. The mudroom was very helpful. Ample TVs and places to relax- internet was great. Great communication with host, very responsive to any needs or questions.

Had a very good time here in Clearfield, was an easy to find home with a good ease of access, the way in was easy to get to and is even wheelchair accessible (as is the whole house) lots of space in the home with nice appliances and an updated bathroom. multiple couches and plenty of seating all throughout the house as well as a game room! had beautiful views and is well away from any major roads. (saw 2 cars over the entire 3 day trip) Was clear that the home may have sat unoccupied for a month or two as there was a few dead bugs and such that were throughout the house, but overall the experience was great, host was very responsive and wasn't afraid of any questions. she also left us a goody basket for our stay! May be a bit on the pricey side for the home if you are staying by yourself but as a family and or group great value, would recommend 4-5 people to fill the 3 available beds, plus there is a pull out sofa. overall we would give the home an 8/10 and our host a 10/10

My family and I stayed at Kelly’s place as our home base for Groundhog Day. Such a beautiful house - brand-spankin’ new and in pristine condition. Kelly was very responsive to our questions and more than accommodating (got to meet her awesome dad, too). My kids were asking if we could move there. Next time we’re in the PA Wilds, we’ll be back.
