Everyone enjoyed staying here! Came up for a football game! Met the neighbor. Super nice people! Loved seeing the deer in the area! Couldn’t believe we saw 2 large bucks walking around during the day! Wish we had our boat! Beautiful looking across the lake and seeing the fall foliage!

Very peaceful little place, screened porch overlooking water was great to enjoy every morning and evening. Had basic necessities, and host was very responsive and proactive. Hiking trails across the house were convenient for walks, since we wanted to have peaceful spring break in nature away from city and noise. Kids enjoyed fishing in the river.

Jodi's place was great for our stay. Beautiful kitchen and everything was stocked. Hot tub is the best part!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay. This home has great views & is a nice place for peaceful walks. It had a nice area for our grandkids to play with a pool table, pinball & many games. There is a well-stocked kitchen. There is ample living space & the master bedroom/bathroom are very nice. The gas fireplaces provided a cozy, warm atmosphere on cold days. Henry was a very friendly, accommodating & responsive host. We enjoyed meeting him. Our family gathered here from all over the US & enjoyed our time here together very much!

The lake house was perfect for our family. Even though it is cold, we enjoyed the outdoor area. The house had plenty of space for our family. We’ll be back in the summer to enjoy it fully!

Serenity is a great place, the views are speechless, the silent at night, you get stress free, you can watch the stars at night getting warm with the fireplace. the Cabin has EVERYTHING you need to have a very comfortable stay. Enough room, TV in every room, and if you are a cooker like me, kitchen has everything you need to cook! We enjoyed Deers watch and feed them. It's a perfect place for staying away from traffic, loud city noises, everyday routine. peaceful place. Highly recommend it. Also there's a town like 15 driving you can buy groceries.

Beautiful house & location. We enjoyed our time just sitting and looking at the lake. The kitchen was very well stocked and we appreciated having a grill! We will definitely come back! Thank you so much!

We had a fun time at Chris’ lake house. It was very clean, quiet, and had all the amenities as described. Hot tub (with its private surround) was enjoyable during the winter temps. Ample kitchen supplies since there aren’t any restaurants around. Make sure to get groceries beforehand!

Beautiful home and setting. The home was comfortable with all the amenities you could hope for. The pond was awesome! We had a wonderful weekend and hope to come back again!

Bob and Candy were awesome hosts! Quick to respond with any questions, and are very friendly. One of the best hosts we have ever encountered. The place is beautiful and recommended to other guests. They have equipped the place with anything you would need. Would definitely return. 10/10

I just finished my stay at the Fox Den Cabin, and it was truly an amazing experience! The property is absolutely beautiful—secluded, peaceful, and the perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind in nature. The cabin itself was cozy, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Joshua and Jeanene were such kind and thoughtful hosts, always happy to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our trip even better! Over the past five days, we enjoyed incredible hikes, relaxed by the fire, and fully embraced the serenity of this retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we’re already looking forward to coming back in the future. If you're looking for a perfect cabin escape, I can’t recommend Fox Den enough!

What a beautiful and peaceful space. We had such a wonderful weekend on the lake. The Boat House was just perfect for the 2 of us. The lake is just so lovely and the house was exactly as described. We felt so comfortable and right at home. We're already working on planning our next visit!

We had a great time staying here. It was the perfect setting to convene three households with small children. The open floorplan was great to let the kids run around. Also, they loved the bunkbeds! The game room in the basement gave us all something to do during one day of bad weather. The view from the deck out onto the lake is picturesque. Rodney and Company were incredible hosts. Very responsive. Also, the home was delivered to us in immaculate condition. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful lake house! We hope to come back next year!

Lindsay's place was absolutely beautiful. Everything was just as pictured. My best friend and I had a peaceful weekend surrounded by stunning views. The New River Trail is right up the road for easy hiking/walking. The town of Draper itself is very small, but there are cute shops and a restaurant where everyone was icnredibly kind. Lindsay was a great host. She was super responsive and gave great recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

Another great stay for us at Breezy Hill! We all, our pup included, always feel like this spot is home away from home. Danielle is by far our favorite hostess!

Felt right at home once we opened the door, nice place and we really enjoyed sitting on the back deck the view is great. Sally stopped by to check in and she very nice to talk to with. We saved her place for a place to stay when we go south again .

Another peaceful stay at the farm - beautiful animals, lovely sunset, quiet and calm area. The kids loved the friendly dogs and just looking at the horses is joyful. Tricia and Logan and everyone we saw was friendly and kind. In reading some other tennis, let me just remind you - this is a barn apartment on a working farm. Yes some things are rustic but everything works and it's a fantastic connection to nature and animals here. We will be back!

Our stay was wonderful! The house is beautiful; even better than the pictures show. The scenery is just as beautiful as the inside. It’s doesn’t get any better than seeing mountains, cows, or Christmas trees depending on which window you want to look out of. The house was very clean and organized and made us feel right at home. We could not have loved the area more and would love to return.

We would definitely stay here again. Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. On a clear day we had a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley below. Quaint shopping in Fancy Gap. Check out the wings and a beverage at Creek Bottom Brewing in Galax. Short trip to Mt Airy NC. We left feeling refreshed.

We only stayed for one night but such an adorable place! My family of 6 really enjoyed our cozy stay. The kiddos loved the ping pong table and played for hours! Very clean and provided clear information for checking in! Will definitely be back :)

Girls weekend was a success. The house is beautiful and fully stocked with everything needed. Plenty of room to gather/visit/play games/etc, however, listing as a 3 bedroom is a bit misleading. Thankfully Cathy had explained the “overflow bedroom” prior and we brought our travel bed. Cathy gives excellent instructions, so thankfully we did not have to bother her while there. Thanks for a wonderful space to celebrate and appreciate the beauty of friends.

The pictures don’t do it justice! Cathy’s place was wonderful for our family (11 people - 3 kids, 8 adults). It was beautiful, clean, great views, and more than enough room for everyone. My dad is disabled so it was important to find a place with a main floor master. Cathy’s main floor master was accessible and extremely disability friendly. My whole family had an incredible time. Our favorite part was definitely the deck and the amazing views! We will definitely be back again.
