House vacation rentals in Clare County

Jonathan is a great host, respond to my questions on a timely manner. The place is the cleanest and very homey. Will definitely recommend.

Cheryl’s home was great for our family with young grandchildren. The sand provided hours of building and pretending fun. The sandy beach and shallow water depth was perfect for all the children from 2-8. They really loved jumping off the dock. The kayaks and paddle boats gave us time on the water. The large level grassy backyard was excellent for softball and tag. The bunk room was great for the grandkids to sleep together, leaving 4 bedrooms for adults. There was a pack n Play and a high chair for the youngest. There were many toys and games to play. The house hade cute decore with special touches to welcome us everywhere. We also appreciated the washer and dryer. The leather sectional was cozy for all of us. We also loved the fire pit for s’mores in the evening. We would like to have had more beach seating. The last two plastic Adirondack chairs were fatally cracked. I’m sure those are on Cheryl’s list to replace soon. Thank you for sharing your home with us Cheryl.

We stayed for the Thanksgiving holiday as our family lives right across the street. The property could not have been more accommodating with location and was supplied with everything we needed. The host Kristi was great to work with!! We would definitely recommend and we will certainly be staying again in the future.

Very serene and peaceful. The wrap-around porch pairs beautifully with the heavily wooded and hill-ridden geography. Just down the road is a gorgeous lake and though we did not have the chance to utilize the public lake access, the view at the guardrail on the bend of the road is within walking distance and is a great spot to pull off and enjoy the scenery. Less than 10 minutes away is a great pizza place and a small town bar and grill. There are also a few parks nearby. Highly suggest for a small group looking to escape the bustle, or a group looking for a golf retreat.

Host was very responsive to questions/needs as they came up. Was very accurate with description on property. Definitely would consider staying here again.

This was a great place in a great location for our family who had events to attend in nearby Big Rapids. As this was a winter trip can only imagine the house and the whole area would make for a fantastic holiday.

Great experience. A lot of deer, squirrels, and nature to take in. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Great responses to any questions. Would love to visit again.

We had such a great time staying here! Amanda and her family were incredibly responsive and they expertly laid out everything for us - all activities, restaurants, anything we might have questions about were already answered for us. I would highly recommend this Stanwood retreat. I know my family is considering making it an annual tradition! Thanks for the hospitality!

Beautiful views! Spotless and brand new! Very nice accommodations. We had family nearby visiting and the space was great for our family game nights and dinners for our group. We had seven people that stayed and an additional 4-5 that joined during the day and the space didn’t feel crowded.

Wonderful home on Long Lake! Enjoyed our stay here last year so much our girls golf group all wanted to return. The house is well equipped and very welcoming. The outdoor space is great, everything from kayaks to fire pit, ready for use! The beautiful, huge upper deck was great for grilling and enjoying our meals outdoors, viewing lake activity and the new Edison light strings were stunning! There was plenty of room for our group of nine. Communication with Teresa was outstanding, quickly responding to our questions. Thank you again Teresa for accommodating our group!

Angela’s place was very clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. Angela was easy to communicate with, and we look forward to booking with her again.

We enjoyed our time. This was our first time at Lake George and we found it to be a nice community. If you enjoy fishing, we pulled up quite a few.

Highly recommend! The home was very clean and had everything we needed and then some. It exceeded our expectations. This was our first time experiencing Elbow Lake and it is a gem. The home had pedal boats and kayaks for us to use, games and toys were available as well, which was awesome. Our family had a blast. We would absolutely come back. Kimberly was attentive and a great host.

Nice place in a peacefull area. Host allowed early check-in and was very responsive.

Everything was as described. We really enjoyed the open layout. Wish the weather would have been nicer for us because we would have loved to use the grill and the fire pit, but to be expected for April. We had a dog with us and it was perfect for him to be outside, no real neighbors around. There is one you can see, but you would have to wander a bit through trees to even get to their land, so it felt quite private to us! We had a hiccup with checking in that was out of the host's control and Brandi communicated a lot and it was all figured out and made right!

Loved this lake house! The view is amazing to wake up to, the lake is peaceful, and the town was friendly and had a lot to offer! everyone we met was friendly. A special shout out to General Store owner John, who went out of his way to give us a history lesson on Lake and the family owned General store. Kelidascope coffee and gifts is another cool place with great food! the house had everything we needed and 2 full bathrooms! Well designed so that a bathroom is right off the huge backyard so folks can dry off without going through the house. Highly recommend this great spot!

Wonderful place to stay, had a small issue of a blown fuse when we arrived but the host responded in less than 10 min and issue was resolved in under 15 min. hot tub was great and loved the extra bags and ball for our four legged companion. Would love to come back again!

This home was absolutely perfect! From the views outback to the stunning decor! The kitchen is definitely the heart of the home with absolutely everything you could need. Everything was super clean and we most definitely look forward to our next stay!

We loved our stay here! The house was very nice and clean. It was a great visit with fishing, bonfires, kayaking and cornhole! Coffee on the porch with a view of the lake was very enjoyable.

Easily the best air bnb I've been to. The house is in great shape and the owner had lots of things there to make the stay even better. Would love to come back someday.
