Willie’s Cottage is a gorgeous, quiet spot. We were extremely fortunate with fantastic bright sunshine for the majority of our stay - we know Scotland well enough to know that this is not normal!! But the house is really spacious and would have been fun even if we’d had a week of rain. It really is immaculate, as well as cosy, warm and well equipped. Loads to do in the area, as well as a little further afield. Jonathan was very helpful with a couple of queries, and made very useful suggestions, and very quick responses. We had a wonderful holiday.

Beautiful little place to stay. Had a warm welcome with delicious homemade bread and other items, Deirdre was very helpful and friendly. The house was spotless and well-stacked, had everything you need for a stay. It was warm and comfortable, as was the bed. It was very tranquil, not a sound to be heard apart from the birds.

Both hosts were lovely and responsive! The hut was gorgeous, clean, and the seats outside were perfect for a peaceful few hours in the morning with a book! The welcome book provided was full of great ideas for sightseeing, wild swimming, and hiking! It had detailed instructions and descriptions and was very helpful in planning my trip. The gardens around the hut were lovely and well kept, Dalmally in itself is perfect for a walk. Whilst there isn't much to do within walking distance, a lot is only a short drive away! River Orchy (10 min walk) was gorgeous and perfect for a sunny day, the water was calm and it had private areas to relax. I was very suprised at how clean and organised the hut was for not a lot of space, but Ewan and Taryn have ruly made it feel like a home and managed to fill it with everything you could need without it being crowded! I will definitely be staying again and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely quiet retreat into the countryside:)

We stayed at Carols for an extended period of time, as we waited for our new home to be ready. Carol couldn’t have been more helpful. She was more than happy for us to use her washing machine and was always on hand when we needed help or advice. The property was everything we needed as an interim home. It had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this property for a short stay or a longer term stay. Thank you Carol for everything. We appreciate you sharing your home Kathy, Allan and Rosie xx
