Willie’s Cottage is a gorgeous, quiet spot. We were extremely fortunate with fantastic bright sunshine for the majority of our stay - we know Scotland well enough to know that this is not normal!! But the house is really spacious and would have been fun even if we’d had a week of rain. It really is immaculate, as well as cosy, warm and well equipped. Loads to do in the area, as well as a little further afield. Jonathan was very helpful with a couple of queries, and made very useful suggestions, and very quick responses. We had a wonderful holiday.

We loved staying at Ruth’s place- it was perfect for us, big kitchen to cook in which we appreciated. Beds were very comfortable and linens good quality. It is very quiet and peaceful- we slept well! We also enjoyed the sun set at the lock and sitting on the swing with a glass of wine - we did have trouble finding it- the gps brings you to an old farm- we called Ruth and we were then able to find it easily- her place is beautiful and peaceful- we would go back!

Such a lovely wee cabin, really recommend - had never been to Dalmally before (we used it as a place to stay in between going to and from Oban to see the puffins on Lunga), and it’s a really quaint village. The hosts were lovely, making us feel welcomed when we arrived. Comfy bed and clean accommodation, surrounded by nature and hillwalks nearby. A gorgeous wild swimming spot in the river nearby too for those inclined! We even got to meet and fall in love with Ethel the bearded collie, the cabin’s namesake…!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge! You could definitely see that Hazel and Richard did their best to make it a cosy and warm home with all the little details. Also the balloons, Prosecco, cake and gift was very attentive. We were celebrating our engagement and the house made it extra special. I would really recommend this Airbnb if you love a spectacular view, great home and friendly hosts!
